Are they encryption tac talkgroups or everything
My context clues would tell me that if a patched clear channel is coming across encrypted on the system, it's probably all gonna be encrypted.

Maybe that's just me....

This is a great example of how the big M sells a sub-par system.
They sell systems designed to the customers specifications. If the customer specifies out door, portable coverage, then that is what they are going to design and sell them.

Users expect Ferrari performance, system owner pays for a cheap Kia. Not Motorolas fault.

Something I have noticed is looking at the coverage map on the database the Madison County site only covers half of Clark county and the Harrison county doesn’t cover none of Clark county they have licensed frequencies all the way around Clark county but nothing in Clark county yet

2 things…

1: The coverage maps on the RR DB are not going to be accurate to the actual system. It is merely a rough estimate.

2: THE SYSTEM IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Most sites have not been completed yet, just because you don’t see frequencies or information from a site doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. It takes time, planning, and resources to complete a system of this size, it’s not done overnight.
