Cool.. Joker is VFA-34 F/18E model types or supposed to transition to the F/18E type.
Still might be the old C type.. Last Navy squadron to switch to the E model.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VFA-34

Notice a couple E-3G types into Andrews or Langley perhaps tonight.
Not logged by me up this way..

SENTRY 27 79-0001 2300z
SENTRY 26 82-0007 0040z.

Could be for just some weekend offshore work or backup?

Quick question. Once about every 4 months I will hear an EAM on 323.8. Is this being transmitted from an aircraft or am I hearing (through ducting) a land site? Thanks

Probably E-6B Navy aircraft.. They also sometimes simulcast on 311.000 as well.

Philly CAP up for game.. NOBLE 01 flight with BANKR 54 KC-135 58-0023 NH ANG.
NOBLE with tanker on 228.900 setting up perimeters and boom freq.
NOBLE 01 took 12k fuel so twin engine fighters for sure F/15 or F22's?
Huntress also active on 260.900.

Those EAMs are transmitted form an E6 aircraft. Also simulcasted on 311.0
I usually hear them at least a few times per week.

At 1300 local, looks like a tanker (58-0023) just started orbiting near Philadelphia for today's Army-Navy game. Also caught a few brief transmissions on 260.9
Kickoff is 3 pm.

Executive 1 Foxtrot also landed at JFK a little while ago.

Sounds like it's FL ANG in the CAP. 267.25 being used again.

Think you are right.. Heard NOBLE 01 take 16k fuel on one tanking.
Guessing F-15C's with ER wing tanks.. Thirsty..
When BANKR 54 bugged out reported offload total of 71k fuel with 21k left.
update:
Listening to some playback on tape sounded like he said were from 366 FW
That's is Mountain Home Idaho.. Maybe they are working TDY out of Florida.
That would make them F-15E models. Same ones you had on the DC CAP the other day.

The jets on Wednesday were E models with Mountain Home numbers/markings but they were coming from Det 1 at Homestead.

Mountain Home TDY Snowbirds :) Bet a nice change for them.. Heard one chatting
who was departing CAP about landing back at base at sunset and worry about deer on runway.
Navy flyover was listed on TV as 4 F/18C's from VFA-34 so they don't have their new E models yet.

1720 local WBFM 338.950 up.. Potus leave early?
1735 local NOBLE 22 says will top off before RTB.
1737 local AF-1 Philly departure 119.750 climbing to 3k direct destination.

Trump back in Washington is motorcading back to the White House from Andrews to free up the Marines so they can attend this evening’s Marine Corps Ball, per Hogan Gidley

OPENSKIES12T OC-135W 61-2670 heading back west. Came into Andrews earlier this morning from Ohio.

An OC-135 Open Skies aircraft takes off from the flight line at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. The U.S. Air Force operates two modified Boeing 707 aircraft as part of the 1992 Open Skies treaty which allows 26 countries unrestricted overflight of domestic airspace to monitor military developments. Thanks. One more quick question....how many seconds delay should I have on my channels. I have about 140 on my list.

Nice pic of 86-0028 :) The 514th rules the weekends.

Seems our tail went to MacDill Florida this morning.
Also not shown but a NATN10 KC-135 63-8040 108Wg McGuire also went to Pease AFB in NH yesterday morning.
Not sure what is up with these two flights.. One North and one way South.

Maybe were extra Alert tankers to possibly shadow this flight today if needed?
Course these 2 stayed way offshore the US. Must have had aux fuel tanks in bomb bays for this long flight.
