Most likely a McChord special Hazmat flight. McChord 4th AS is only USAF unit that flies special
Hazmat materials around the World. You will see them duck Canada and French airspaces with hot cargo.

Currently hearing NIGHTHAWK5 flight of two helicopters with PCT to DCA tower.

NIGHTHAWK6 also around there too. DCA telling 5 to fix their transponder or RTB. Idents not being observed. Finally getting picked up on radar. Heading up the river.

So I was hearing something with 159 in the callsign. It's YETI159 and they have company.
Whoever they are, they say they're familiar with the area.
Now heading from S. Capitol via Rt 1 to Ft Washington.

They got all kinds of choppers and know the area.

01/10/19 - Coronet flight with your A10s chatting on 266.6 & 271.4 going right up the coast at 0456 local. With 2 GOLD tankers showing off coast of NJ. GOLD 61 87-0121 , GOLD 71 86-0037 both lifted off out of KWRI. Tankers on 303.00 with "chicks in tow". The A10s not showing on the box.

Yeah Tech overslept and missed live but on tape had TABOR 11 flight of 6 direct Sea Isle
off Martin State looking for GOLD 61 on 396.200 Coronet tanker freq.
Then bit later TABOR 17,18 airspares climbing up then TABOR 21 flight of 6
looking for GOLD 71.. Good luck and safe trip for all 12 of them.
update 6am local TABOR 17,18 on ZBW feed looking to rtb Martin State.

All 12 arrived Lajes with 5 Maryland 104thFS ANG A-10's and 7 Michigan 107thFS A-10's
according to Lajes spotters.
A mixed unit deployment. The Moody FT A-10's guys currently over there will rtb US in a week or so.

Noticed earlier today 3 KC-10's from Travis up in Cal QUAKE 52,53,54
Guessing topoffs for these Three tails over the water Westbound.
Makes you wonder about some homefront fams in Missouri when this assignment came down.
Sorry Honey but off to Hawaii for 3 weeks,keep kids in school and snow shovel
is in garage.
