Speaking of cargo planes bad time of the year for the A-124's from Volga Dnepr
UPS and National can help out :) Lets see if Antonov airlines keep theirs flying.

Still one VDA-A124 airborne tonight from Orlando. Working way home I assume.
They do a lot of cargo work out of South America. They actually based one or two out of Houston Tx cause of that.

Good evening,

Three brand-new RAF F-35s departed today from Ft. Worth on their delivery flight to RAF Marham as RRR 9711-9713.
They diverted however to Memphis KMEM with their supporting tanker Voyager RRR 9301 (ZZ332).

They should be departing to the UK after the holiday on Friday November 27.

Thanks for that. I was monitoring them working Winnipeg when they were eastbound as a flight of 4 and was wondering where those 2 ended up. Do you happen to remember the approximate time they were over KFFO ?

Can't say I recall. I remember the recordings began in the late morning, but I never checked the individual times.

1158- Finally got a hit on him. Ascot 9301 working ZDC Woodstown (125.45) & ZDC Kennedy (125.325). At 1203 had some weak xmissions on 359.5. Too weak to hear anything clearly. They are right on the edge of my UHF reception horizon.

Just switched to Boston on 134.300 (flight of 4 aircraft block 26-27K)....now on 133.425 Boston Center

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

A nice milair treat today on a normally dead milair day... I caught the F-35 flight just as I turned on the radios before seeing all of your posts. Thanks to everyone for filling in the blanks I now know what I was hearing! :)

1728z 359.500 ASCOT 9301 and RAF 9711-13 on boom freq talking refueling and divert airfields nearby. (I have this freq logged before in March and April of 2020 during RAF Coronet flights)
1747z 123.900 ASCOT 9301 switching from ZBW 133.450 to Moncton Center check in the block 250-270 "flight of four".

Again, give thanks for what we do have, not what we're missing by staying home and keeping COVID safe!

but wow look at the
Nationwide radar on ADS-B... Looks like old times :)
Thanks Mark. Yes I noticed the increase in flights yesterday and today. Looking promising to some day getting back to a more normal amount of planes in the air.

GAF058 A400M outbound from Dulles. Just heard the unmistakeable sound of it, but louder. Passed over at just ~4000ft

It's been otherwise quiet around here today, even at my sister's where the southbound departures pass directly over.
