1040- ADS-B showing Rhody 36 (C-130J # 095-1436 AE0143E RI ANG Quonset Point RI) departing Quonset Point and heading down East Coast at FL200. Rhody 36 then did a couple of orbits off Atlantic City and now appears to be heading back to RI. Looks like some sort of inflight issue curtailed the mission.

If you really got some time and are interested in North Atlantic airline coms this old 2012 vid
shows how Shamrock Control sets up aircraft to cross Atlantic Westbound.. Learned a few things like Daily tracks
get changed constantly due to mainly prevailing headwinds etc.
Aircraft altitude change requests get phone lined to Gander to see if it is ok with them etc.
When you got time check it out.. 30W is when Shanwick hands off to Gander and vice versa.

2105 local WIDE-28 KC-135 60-0346 coming SE bound climbing up from Michigan.
127Wg Mich ANG.
Looks like a future CAP tanker..
WIDE-28 went SE offshore NC Outerbanks at FL350.. Guess a alert tanker for someone offshore
like a P-8A.. Strange.. Maybe someone working offshore just south of Bermuda.

I never get traffic on Philly apch 118.350 around here into KILG.
Used to be Philly appch South 119.750 for KILG but that freq seems quiet lately too.
Seems Philly apch 124.350 is the busy freq now.
Back when he was VP if wx was ok AF-2 would do Andrews to KILG and keep below 10k
so Pot appch>Dover appch>Philly appch then KILG tower...
On Marks point 119.75 is the primary freq. for anything coming in or leaving but depending on direction and which configuration philly is using. When they are landing east 128.4 tends to hand off to ILG. 118.350 is usually simulcast with 119.75, when on the field I can hear the controllers on 118.35 as the antenna is on the field and 119.75 I hear the pilots.

0842- Tanker on 121.05. ident a Guard Dog freq. Tanker advises they were given 126.55 as Guard Dog Freq. Finally switch to 135.525. Tanker advises they are using Tacan 92Y freq.

0855- SAM 210 (C-37 # 11-0550 AE 4DDD) on approach to ADW. Coming in from Ramstein GE.

0855- Noticed on ADS-B that Advice 05 (KC-135R # 61-0244 AE0264 OH ANG, 121ARW Rickenbacher Int'l Airport Columbus OH ) is on the ground at Columbus OH.

0910- Cosmic 2 idents 121.050 as comm #2. Cosmic 1 advises tanker that they will be off CAP in about an hour.
