1030am local RIVER-11 flight of 2 at FL5k with Philly apch UHF inbound KILG runway 27.
This morning saw a pair of large Army type helos about this time come straight overhead at work
but couldn't make out types.. Seemed like fancy Blackhawks from underneath.
Could be these guys from Ron's list.. RIVER CH-47D, 2-3 AVN, GSAB Hunter AAF Savannah GA
The ones I saw were not Chinooks however.. CH-47D's prob long retired or upgraded.
Seems Alpha Company 2-3 AVN from there flies Blackhawks.. Alpha Company, 2-3 Aviation Regiment - GSAB - Home | Facebook
RIVER11 was a flight of 2 VFA-204 hornets.

What doesn't make more sense is, that was a fuel stop en route to Ohio.....
Those old RIVER F/18A's are getting up there.. One of the last A model Reserve squadrons I think.
I have seen on rare occasion a F/18E or F type on weekend Reserve trip stop at KILG and park at Atlantic Aviation
from Oceana NAS. Pilot just visits family or friends in area then flies back the next day.
I guess Atlantic Aviation takes Navy credit cards for av gas.:) The MV-22's from Quantico also use Atlantic.

Noble 01 working ZDC Dupont (307.25)

In the "Mid Atlantic Area Milair Frequencies" list there is an entry for:

307.275 New York ARTCC Dupont Sector

But no entry for 307.250. I presume the 307.275 is an error and should be listed as 307.250 and "Washington" Dupont ? (The Radio Reference database and the ZDC SOP shows 307.250 as Washington Dupont).

There is a 307.275 though, from Thursday.

Heard DOOM flights in the area decending in area on UHF around lunch time local. 1218 DOOM-1 push 307.275.

I was able to confirm the handoff from LiveATC as 307.275, but I can't find any reference to this frequency. It appears to cover the same area as Dupont 307.250, or maybe Woodstown ? Can anyone confirm the sector ?

Incidentally I was trying to find more LiveATC coms from that DOOM flight (4 BUFFS ?) but couldn't find anything on any adjacent frequencies after that handoff. Anyone have more info. or where they might have ended up ?
