Just a heads up. Civil Reserve Air Fleet flights are ending up in Washington-Dulles on the U.S. side of the pond for the moment, though at least one landed at Andrews. Staging points are Ramstein AFB, Germany and Frankfurt-Hahn, Germany. Seems like Kabul to Doha, Qatar then to Germany for now. They have been verbally noting to Gander and Shannon that they are CRAF flights.

So far:
Atlas N649GT
Delta N504DN
Delta N810NW
Delta N820NW
Delta N1201P
Omni N486AX
United N2352U

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey is now ready to receive Afghan evacuees, the other three are Fort McCoy, Wisconsin; Fort Bliss, Texas; and Fort Lee, Virginia.

Are you sure about the last two?? They are the emergency frequencies

They are permitted to have them in their radios - they are communicating with both civil (121.5) aircraft and military (243.0) aircraft so having those frequencies loaded are probably good to have communication capabilities on. Just like Channel 16 Marine band....you cannot chat on them but they are good for emergency comms.
