Does anyone happen to know or have heard the airboss frequency being used this year by David Schultz Airshows ? He is the airboss for the show over Pocono Raceway today.

Anyone have any info on the airboss frequency? I have the ThunderBirds freq's. I'm assuming that they would be flying out of AVP.

Yesterday I posted that E-4B Order 66 was doing AAR in AR455. Friend of mine in Kentucky caught them in AR455 & passed this along

While searching for the airboss frequency today I found an image of the transceivers used by the David Schultz Airshows. Can anyone identify
what these are?

Look like Army surplus aviation radios out of old aircraft or chopper..
I don't see any mic inputs. Seem like receivers only or only used as receivers.

I heard a broken female voice on 233.700 (which is known to be a Fort Drum freq) around 1430 today. Did any of you Canadians hear anyone using the ranges?

Never seen a flat out 5 day Air Res for AR-20E and West.. TACC keeping it reserved for tankers,C-17's?
Maybe keeping the local Maine,Pease tankers etc from training out there to keep it open.

98-0002 SAM057 on ADSBx, AF2, wheels up for the very long journey to Singapore (with refueling stops in Anchorage and Tokyo). Also, 99-0003, SAM060 departing/following on ADSBx

SAM60 and SAM057 showing on ADSBX Tokyo towards Manila it seems but not stopping there it seems.
Prob inbound Ho Chi Min or ex Saigon. They got to stay clear of the South China sea via Manila.

I didn't hear anything on the ranges today. 233.700 is Base Ops at Wheeler-Sack so it could have been that Dyess C-130 you spotted earlier with their inbound call.

They look like PSC-5 manpack radios. Top one has the V/UHF 'Donkey uh, well.....' antenna.
Middle one has the connection for something like an H-250 handset, or out to a speaker/H250 combo.
I am looking for a good link to send your way.

VHF: 118.700 - 132.950 - 135.650 - 121.500
UHF: 238.150 - 269.900 - 288.700 - 350.300 - 243.000
