Working what appears to be a German SOF exercise at Camp Atterbury. Backend call was SHINER 40. Lots of interesting aircraft so far, should be going for a few days.

Interesting to get some idea of the activity and see the 'local' frequencies in use (just a peedie bit too far away for me).

I'll throw a slight spanner into the breakdown though as SHINER40 was the flightdeck callsign of a rivet so unlikley to have also been in use as a mission callsign by another aircraft at the time

Had SAW BLADE just come up on HF.. sounded like same operator..

Aware that I replied and also that this could easily be off-topic geographically.

Operator change this afternoon and though previous operators seem to say SAWBLADE the latest messages (for ROMEOFORCE) have the NCS call sounding like SOULBLADE or even SOULPLATE. Different accents and non-US earlobes!

(If deemed inappropriate I won't get upset if you all ask the mods to delete)

1003- Noble 01 flt working ZDC Snow Hill (236.825) request entry into the Blue Claw ALTRV to working w/Teflon 13 (KC-135R # 63-8029) which just departed DOV. Nobles working ZDC Kenton (354.15).

1006 Bash flt (3 X F-22s 149th FS VA ANG) check in w/Bay Watch (305.2). Advise Bay Watch they need block GFL100-FL200 as they have "bunch of Langley guys" coming up to PAX. F-22s working on 296.9. T-Bolts now joining in

1015- Some 71st FS T-38s in the mix. Dudes are on 255.65. Says they can see DC & Balt from their position. I initially thought they were working with the Langley F-22s, but seems they are transiting our area heading up north. Working ZNY Middleton (322.4)
