1615- SAM 585 (C-23 # 98-0002) on descent over Harrisburg. Working ZNY Big Flat (132.2). I guess the border czarina decided to stay in France, otherwise he should be using AF2 call,
Prob forgot to change it on mode s.. Maybe SAM 647?
See OLIVE-49 RC-135U #64-14849 heading for Europe out of Lincoln.
Supposedly only two of these in USAF fleet. RC-135U Combat Sent > U.S. Air Force > Fact Sheet Display (af.mil)
Things may be heating up over there with Ukraine and Poland.

He was showing SAM 585 all the way in. He used QSL'ed as "585" to a xmission from the Big Flat controller. That was the only time I heard him with that controller.

Not sure why they didn't change their ADS-B callsign ? They were AF 2 with ZBW all they way to ZNY, maybe New York didn't get the message ?

Hearing what I believe is Noble 21 that’s a (Douglas KC-10A) whom flew in to Maryland from somewhere up north and is talking to someone else but I can barely hear them. He reports a “boom” issue and that a crew chief is working on it.

6:36 am- Now he’s saying he may need to come back tomorrow. He’s basically doing a circle and it looks like he’s heading back north.

6:39 - Tester 115 (I think) says he’s having issues with his lights and will call them back.

All of this being heard on 260.900 and 247.050

6:46- Whelp I guess not. Now he’s saying he’s doing his check list and when he’s done they can “come in”

Perhaps they have fixed or I’m getting
my aircraft wrong. I apologize

Noble is most likely the callsign for the fighters on CAP duty. Believe the tanker Callsign is probably WIDExx this morning. Looks as though he has started his orbit for Camp David.

Seems two of the B-1's TDY at RAF Fairford UK are returning to US this morning as ARTY-11 flight.
Departed about 4 hours ago so should be coming in from the Northeast enroute back to Dyess AFB Texas.
Prob will be some SPUR tanker or two for them this side. AR-80 has Res from 1615z-1715z so may be for them.
