1511- Reach 4128 (C-17 # 00-0184) calling ADW CP (378.1). Word has still not gotten out.

Since they passed just south of me....maybe I should invest in a large sheet (and lights for night that says) the following - install on the roof since it faces that direction

KADW 378.100 INOP

No information shown about the frequency being out of service on any uplink messages - if it was listed on ATIS or other data - they might avoid calling on a out of service frequency.

1447- Joker 36 (unid) working ZDC Cape Charles (121.375). Only thing in area is Hex AE680F, prob one of those P-8 tac hexes. That Hex had been up on ACY area and is now looking to be heading back south.

Showing low altitude over North Carolina

1740 BLUE-42 KC-135 60-0316 Utah ANG inbound Bangor from Salt Lake city.
That sounds like maybe staging for LN Altrav of a couple of F-15's going stateside later this week.
They always seem to use callsign BLUE-41-43. Maybe pull another F-15c out of service too.

The first F-35's go to LN to be based later in December. wonder if that is still on?

1940 local KAF-3202 Kuwait AF C-17 #343 inbound Dover,Radio officer sounds American on CP 349.400
Pilot comes up on apch 132.425 sounds like from Kuwait.

Had him visually until just below 300 foot altitude - about 25 miles distant. Just above the water line (Delaware Bay). Looks like ADS-B Exchange had him until 700 foot. Guess I need to work on feeding them as well.

Yeah 378.100 was listed in ADW Notam as out of service all Summer and into October when Notam expired and
was automatically removed from the ADW notam list but 378.100 continues to be out of service.
The only current ADW Notam regarding coms is:
ALL SAM MISSIONS ARE REQUIRED TO CONTACT COMMAND POST AT C301-981-5058 (DSN 858) FOR ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES FOR EVERY LEG DUE TO PARTIAL COMM OUTAGES
No VHF or No UHF CP.. Partial? LOL :)

They should probably note that on the ATIS - since that seems to be the most uplinked data to crews. Maybe they would see it if it came up that way.

Yeah Dover used to have good low altitude coverage on ADSBX but lately they drop off as soon as they
make turn at tip of South Jersey :(
Andrews just needs to re post the out of service Notam so crew on their I-Pads on way inbound can get it.
Seems all USAF pilots and many Civies are using I-Pads for great info. Even the NOBLE's were talking about velcro mounting their I-Pads on their
knee for their CAP work.. ForeFlight on I-Pad is popular with Civ aircraft.

Yeah guess I better work on feeding ADS-B exchange. I can occasionally see aircraft on the ground at Dover (ADS-B). Just depends on conditions.
