Heard him working on DOV A/D (257.875) but didn't hear his callsign.

I did end up hearing him on LiveATC, Salty Dog 201, but no type ID'd. Requested to fly over the ATR VOR to check instruments then went into R4006.

Fairly busy Milair day.

I see the Greek F-16 is on the way as well. BLUE 61 meeting up to handoff to BLUE 62 mid Atlantic.

A couple of WRI KC-10s to the north using the HOSER callsign. And the 2 WRI KC-10s that went to the west one was using callsign FORCE 06 and the other one ARGON 19.

09:35 - doing touch and goes at Dover, Salty Dog 201 (LiveATC).

ADSB c/s obviously indicates a VX-23 platform. Low end VX-23 200 series Buno's in the past have been assigned to T-45 aircraft so it is either a miscode, new Buno, or a mod to an existing airframe. Only two showing at Scramble are:

162788SD-202T-45AT002VX-23ActiveNov 2004May 2011
163635SD-205T-45CA037VX-23ActiveSep 2005Jan 2021

Something to watch. I love a good mystery.

1209- SAM 526 (C-40 # 01-0016 AE115D) off ADW heading south.

1228- Unid acft (no call noted) working Giantkiller (251.3) out in W110.

1242- Steeljaw working w/Score (VX-20) & Dragon (unid) on VX-20 test discrete (345.1) . Steeljaw queries Score if they "want to test the J voice link". Steeljaw advises Score & Dragon that he is sending tracks for targets in the Norfolk area. ADS-B showing Score 22 (E-2 # 162169 AE2FD6 VX-20) working in the Norfolk/ Oceana area at FL240. In the past the hex code AE2FD6 has been used by E-2D # 168076. so, not sure which acft is working today.

This is from NAS PAX Fcaebook page:

Noise Advisory - FCLP Training Flights Scheduled February 18-March 2, 2021
Communities surrounding the naval air station are advised that noise-generating testing events are scheduled to take place February 18, 2021 to March 2, 2021. Test events are scheduled from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Pilots at NAS PAX will be conducting Field Carrier Landing Practices (FCLPs). FCLPs are simulated carrier landings conducted to prepare the pilot to land safely on an aircraft carrier. The practices consist of series of touch-and-go maneuvers, “bounces.” Airspeed, altitude and power are all precisely choreographed in order for a pilot to approach the ship within an acceptable window to land on the deck safely. FCLP training is essential for the precision and safety of our military men and women and the success of their mission. Landing on an aircraft carrier is perhaps the most difficult task in military aviation. It is a highly complex and perishable skill, and requires intense period of training before pilots deploy. Residents may notice increased noise levels due to these operations.
As with all operations, NAS Patuxent River takes precautions to lessen the impact of testing activities on the community. For more information, call 1-866-819-9028.
