HF 8992 really busy with the digital chainsaw message every few minutes..Notice at very end a short static squelch tail
assume is ID or handshake signal or just transmitter delay from signal?

Don't see specific TFR for tonight for the State of the Onion but in the past hasn't Andrews F-16's sometimes gone up for a few laps?

Calls CP on 349.400 "Fire Dept" LOL I guess close to First State :)
Notam today says CP 134.100 now out of service as well as 349.400 but evidence to the contrary on 349.400.

Looking at ADS-B, it looks like there is already a No Fly Zone over Ukraine. Why is their Pres asking that Biden close off the airspace?
That current Ukraine fly zone is for Civ aircraft. They want Mil aircraft flyzone ban to keep Russian fighters/bombers/choppers out.
they are up here and there now but we can't see them on ADSB.

NIGHTHAWK31 calling Mt Weather on 241.0. 5 minutes out for landing on M7 pad. Possibly dropping on the congressional designated survivor.
I've confirmed talkgroup 1 on the trunked system is for VHF 126.2. Talkgroup 2 is UHF.
The trunked system is quite busy right now. There is already another aircraft parked.

1653- NIGHTHAWK32 MV-22 now reporting inbound
1656- NIGHTHAWK33 MV22 with KJYO reporting 5 miles to the NE. 127.5
1702- 33 is 3 miles out. Somehow got past me without being seen or heard.
Did you happen to hear Nighthawk 4 at all? They were a VH-3D that took off from Anacostia just prior to the V-22s.
2130E: Hearing TROY195 (DHS S-76) off HEF headed "North West." To Mount Weather?

Sec'y of Commerce was tonight's designated survivor.

Tomorrow AF 1 heads to Duluth MN at 10:35am, returning at 4:10pm CST with 7:20pm EST arrival (schedule below).
The VP heads to RDU and a visit to Durham with 8:30am departure, departing RDU at 3:20pm, on Sunday she is headed to Selma, Alabama (see below).

There has been constant Blackjack coverage over Northern Virginia since 2000E. Blackjack 1 and 2 alternating. Working on 134.35. Airborne air defense coverage?

2240E: TROY195 now approved for Zone 2 and Zone 3 on 134.35
2245E: NIGHTHAWK 4 VH-3D east bound on Potomac, possibly from Mt Weather.
2050E: TROY195 just landed at Saint Elizabeth's Campus/DHS HQ.
2300E: NIGHTHAWK 4 on 134.35 requesting Route 1 to Anacostia.

TIS-b for Nighthawk 4:


Looks like they came from up north. Site R perhaps? Would explain why they weren't heard on Mount Weather 241.0.
