When the E-4 works with a C-32 with a single digit VENUS (e.g. VENUS 5 or VENUS 7) callsign it is usually some sort of Continuity of Government exercise in my observation. Sometimes they land at the same military base and presumably simulate a presidential transfer.

The VENUS plane may be in stealth mode with a spoofed hex ID like SAM 18 these days.

SLOTH 85 just told the invisible plane on 142.75 that he was climbing to FL270 to match the altitude.

SLOTH appears to be burning the classic analog Northstar WBFM signal with no digital artifacts on 337.3.

In other exercises like this the second plane trails several miles behind for a while. Sometimes they land together, often they seem to terminate the exercise in the air and go their separate ways.

Looks like C-32 # 98-0001 (ADFEB7) might be heading back to ADW soon. He was spotted out over the Gulf of Mexico using callsign SAM 940. Maybe he's done with rehab and this was check flt.

SAM940 returned to ADW today. Had used the same c/s for each flight since it flew to Atlanta in December.

1435 local have someone A/A Huntress 260.900 trying to solve left and right wing fuel load problems.
Must be a ways off as sort of weak signal.
1446 One says we have 110 knots wind speed here at FL270.
Earlier had RAVEN-1 flight VFR at 2500 feet going to Warren Grove range.I don't think it is them.

using 140.700 and 298.600 as well - may be two separate groups doing training.
