I heard them communicating via SATCOM with SIDECAR. Probably related to NOBLEDEFENDER
What SATCOM frequency were they using ?
And it's in the clear? I thought all mil satcom was encrypted?
INMARSAT is not military it is a commercial use service. while they do have secure comms and services, this is generally used by the commercial aviation industry and military aviation for weather/navigation/medical assistance/aviation technical assistance. Also, the shipping industry are heavy users for a ton things.

1338- VT ANG F-35s have entered Viper, SCOTCH 11, KNIGHT 21, HAMMER 31 (x2), KINGFISH 41 (x2). HAMMER working BARKEATER mentions inbound SKULL flight will enter at 18000 feet. 226.800, 234.800, 261.800, 349.700, 226.300.

I think this time SLAYER 11 and 12 were B-52s chatting air to air on 250.25 and requesting direct Barksdale as they returned past me in Kentucky at 2215Z.

A little bit of an update for next week. President Biden is scheduled to visit to Brussels, Belgium from March 23-24. The White House will release a travel schedule prior to departure.
The White House Travel Office is in the process of confirming hotel and charter accommodations in Brussels. There will be a White House Press Charter for this trip. The White House Office of Press Advance and the White House Travel Office is managing the hotel reservation process in conjunction with the U.S. Embassy in Belgium. The Crowne Plaza Brussels Airport has been selected as the press hotel.

RAGU02 - just south of the Northern Neck area of Va on 311.000 asking about “tanker flights” he’s also advising he’s lost something and is calling around. He came back and said that “he copies that there won’t be anymore flights tonight and thanks”
