Not sure what I'm hearing yet as its a bit scratchy (and I'm a bit of a novice to MilAir), but something is working 260.900 (Huntress DC area/Guard Dog CAP) - only aircraft showing on ADS-B within 100 NM of my location are NATN16 (18-46054) and 62-3523 which looks like its flying a CAP over Delaware... I missed out on all the fun the past few years when Trump was within much closer listening range.

One place to look for clues is the search page on Ben Orchard's satcom/ACARS/HF-DL site: Using Node-RED to manage ADSC, ADSB, ACARS, VDL2, HF-DL and other aircraft type messages. | thebaldgeek.github.io

Enter the aircraft hex code in the search field and, in the case of BLUE 52, you get this gobbledygook. Scanning for identifiers, you can see that the flight is from KPSM to LSGA with a scheduled departure time of 2150Z on the third day of the month. The format is different with different aircraft and sometimes you have to use a little guesswork and imagination. The displayed data in the plane is formatted in a similar cryptic manner in my experience.

Guys,

Has anyone heard the Louisiana CAP ftrs use 226.75 to talk to Ops?
Just now Ron calling into 226.750 NOBLE-21 on way home direct Langley also on 363.000>360.700> reports also on 226.750 112 miles out.
Have heard them in CAP here before saying that can only contact Langley Ops when they are in Southern portion of their CAP racetrack.
NOBLE-22 calling as well calls them SPAD Ops on 226.750.

1950E: NOBLE21 in bound LFI, RWY26 cleared to land
1953E: NOBLE22 gear down
1955E: NOBLE22 right closed go around
1957E: NOBLE22 right based full stop cleared to land RWY26

that’s a wrap for tonight. Maybe 1 more CAP rotation tomorrow before POTUS leaves Delaware.

We’ve heard NOBLE1, 11 and 21 today. Does that mean the TDY into Langley is a flight of 6 F-15Cs?

I'm not sure how many tails they bring along to Langley.I saw 4-5 Florida ANG F-15;s on ramp video
at Langley a few weeks ago.Seems not many spares as pilots complain about same old problems on
their old birds the very next day. They seem lucky to keep 4 of them flying at any given time for CAP duty.
The F-15C's are retiring from 48th FW in Europe a few at a time and hear they are spreading them around to the US based
Guard units.Hopefully soon they will have some of those new F-15EX birds :)

Terry, thanks for sharing your great live feed! Grateful for. I wasn't sure if you were aware that 263.825 satcom downlink is often hijacked, locking up your scan. Usually during the night for 263.825. During the day on 269.85. Somehow on 269.25 AM? Other satcom frequencies, sporadic. I experience the same thing on my radios when I least expect it. It's hard for me to catch it on mine with the audio turned down or muted. Not so long ago, people were using 243.0 AM with an unknown language near my QTH. Thanks again for sharing with all of us, appreciate it!

You are welcome. Understand on 263.825. On 269.850 during the day (are you saying same issue as 263.825 ?
On 269.250 not sure what you mean.

I may just lockout the SATCOM portion since I can monitor it here in NJ on a dedicated radio with a SATCOM antenna. Was just trying to see what I could catch at home on the antenna setup there.

On the 243.000 - it could have been fighter pilots from various countries using it since there have been a few groups transiting the country.

I have to find another way to feed from PA --- by the end of the year the location will be sold and I doubt the new owners will want to keep the antenna farm on the roof !!

0927- Nation working Huntress (260.9) advising that if they have to stay 1 hour beyond the original time they will have 10K fuel to offload. POTUS running late? Nation advises Huntress they had 5 contacts & offloaded 46.5K fuel.

0937- Nobles & Nation chat about being able to RTB in 15 mins. Nobles invite Nation down to Louisiana for crawfish boil & Nation says they will bring the beer from Spokane.

0945- Couple of New England tankers passing through our area heading south this morning. Maine 85 (KC-135R # 63-8873) & Pack 92 (KC-46 # 16-46020).

0955- Nighthawk 3 landing at ADW.
