Rare you see two E-4B's depart MacDill AFB like that..
SLICK-99 #75-0125
GORDO-14 #74-0787
Chasing each other back to Lincoln? Gordo remaining at low level FL18k now following SLICK-99 who is at FL340.
Problem with the GORDO bird?

Australian Wedgetail ASY-254 zipping thru T-Storms at FL4k from Vegas to Tyndall.
Guess all done at Red Flag Vegas and prob future type for the USAF.
Maybe more training at Tyndall in store for them.

I can't think of anything offhand that would restrict a Boeing to FL180. There are pressurization issues that allow you to depart with something inoperative with a FL250 restriction, for example an inop pax O2 system (see below).

It looks like they flew an Air Force formation about 30 miles apart until Nashville, now SLICK 99 is putting the power up and pulling away.

Ok did check and ZOMBIE-10 is KC-135 #61-0321 6th AMW MacDill..
ZOMBIE-10 tanking now with Nobles's for small topoff as they will be departing soon.
NOBLE 02 is CAP rookie keeps asking all kinds of basic questions how this works, what if we get cancelled? etc.
1953 ZOMBIE-10 signs off with Bigfoot 260.900 says offloaded 26k fuel and see ya tomorrow.

Interesting USAF article in how the USAF lacks jamming power the Navy has with the EA-18G.

If I was a Coastie Cadet would rather have Dave Chappelle LOL.

2017 local Seems Bigfoot 260.900 wants NOBLE's to hang around a bit longer so will hit tanker again
for another topoff before departure.
NOBLE's talking about foggy? wx at Langley so reason they will hang out longer.
Mentioned deck vis of about 200 feet.. Nobles' want to hang out about halfway between here and Langley but
say prob won't be allowed to do that.. Still hearing them overhead here.

Flight Planner says Mist obscured at KLFI. Temps only 63 so must be offshore breeze causing this.
NOBLE's all topped off to 21k fuel so can hang out and work CAP some more.
Think first time I ever heard CAP to work overtime due to home station wx.
2028 local Boom operator having temp issues so Noble 1 standing by at tanker.
2043 NOBLE-01 cleared to contact on 247.050

Checking my tape from today. EVIL 11 flight working the Fort Drum Range, sounded like A-10s. EVIL noted as a possible IN ANG callsign. Also SLAYER 58 working BRUTAL confirms type as MQ-1C, advised playtime 11 hours. Callsign number 58 matches last two digits of ADSB-X ID. Standard frequencies, BARK EATER on 244.500 and BRUTAL on 226.900.

2056 local NOBLE A/A saying looks pretty cool at night admiring the ground.
Latest wx report says Langley broken with Vis at 100 feet.. "Maybe take a look at Oceana?
Oceana wx readback says broken at 300 feet.. Chatting about how bad wx can get unpredictable at Hamptons Road area.

That has always been my beef about OC Maryland airshow in early June..
Hot land temps with cold ocean temps makes for crazy coastal fog conditions. Sort of like California Bay area coastal wx :(
2105 local NOBLE's talking about landing up this way soon somewhere.
2108 NOBLE's will divert to Barnes BAF "About 80 milish from here" on A/A 263.200
Note. I think it is farther than that :) but they are all fueled up anyway.Maybe he said 180 milish from here.Be more like it.
ZOMBIE-10 offloaded total 47.1 fuel now on 260.900."See ya tomorrow afternoon"
2110 NOBLE's still working flight plan to BAF on ZDC 307.250
2122 local all quiet in skies here so assume they departed.
