Had an interesting catch on 273.950 from some NIGHTHAWK MV-22s coming back from Chicago last week:

"Just wanted to confirm, are you back up with us 134.45 and 14062?" [134.450 is CMH A/D for Dayton.]

I'm fairly certain the copilot said "14062" but that doesn't rule out an error from her. There is an ATC freq nearby of 120.650, but it's also possible that 140.625 is in use by the squadron - worth listening for.
Jared

Will put that in the scanner. Thanks

Although they also talk on other freqs, the Blues are very loquacious on 237.8 when in formation on cross country flights in my experience. I'd listen there as the rest of the planes show up later in the week.

Here's a clip from last year where they wax poetic about the lovely women in Sweden. Is there an exchange tour? I don't think so.

Well, actually there might be one soon as Sweden joins NATO.

That's a new callsign for me; I thought they used NAVY 375 most of the time. I see they also used GSBRD recently, any idea what that was?

EDIT: Looks like since ETD Hawaii changed to VR-1 Det. Hawaii, they may be using PACBIRD as their new call. GSBRD may have been a reception error since it looks like it appeared during a flight as PACBRD.

Does anyone know if VR-1 has a callsign other than NAVY? I had RACER on my list but I think I made an error because that was used by Army Gulfstreams.
