Carib mission as SHARK 67
Was definitely RafAir. Heard him 3 times. Can you confirm this was calling Rafair (RFR) and not Ascot (RRR), thanks.
JaredThat's a new callsign for me; I thought they used NAVY 375 most of the time. I see they also used GSBRD recently, any idea what that was?
EDIT: Looks like since ETD Hawaii changed to VR-1 Det. Hawaii, they may be using PACBIRD as their new call. GSBRD may have been a reception error since it looks like it appeared during a flight as PACBRD.
Does anyone know if VR-1 has a callsign other than NAVY? I had RACER on my list but I think I made an error because that was used by Army Gulfstreams.
MA ANG F15s SLAM 1 (x2) working Viper this morning. A-A UHF they mentioned giving HUNTRESS a call on SATCOM for a check, first on C9 then C42. Not sure what SATCOM frequencies those are ? Anyone know ?
Not sure about C9. I suppose it could be CONR-1?
I had MUDDY-41 flight F-16's in CAP last week using CONR-2 as he called it but uplink was 297.525 L+C talking to his Ohio base.Thanks. CONR-1 makes sense I guess, when they were talking about it one asked the other who should we call first 9 or 42, the other replied 9 first and they will tell us what to use, then a few minutes later I heard the second calling switching to 42.
Was just watching this AN-124..AN-124 ADB3273 just made a distinct racket flying over my house on the way out of Dulles. Heard it and was like yeah that's not one of the usual flights.
The AN -124 was over last night around 3am in the Harrisburg pa area . Caught him on 132.200 passing threw pa. Also i saw on a news feed that the us army will be doing a exercise with ch 47 and ah 64 helicopters at the lehigh valley international airport on friday May 20,th from around 8 am until 10 am i think i read there.
