Hello I know this might sound a little crazy but does anyone know if it’s possible to find out when an aircraft is leaving selfridge air national guard in Michigan, I live in Canada real close to it, I tried programming it in my scanner but there are so many channels I’m not sure which one it is. Any help with a website or if someone knows the actual channel they use for military aircraft for departures that would be very helpful. TIA

0850- SAM 46 (C-32 # 09-0018) off ADW.
I noticed after it’s two week stint at L-3 in Greenville Tx that they now show on FR24 as 19-0018. Can anyone confirm the registration. It was brought into service much later than 2009 but money could’ve been allotted for it then or the USAF could’ve just used ‘09 because it was easier to keep it with the other ‘09 C-32s.

I believe they used “FAST 51” yesterday when they went to KSYR.
1153 local FAST-51 trying to raise Ctr on 335.600 ZNY Modena and finally get them going to FL230.
They came out of McGuire AFB.
FAST-51 flight one tail is tracking WB across Pennsylvania at FL260 as 6808179.

You might want to try the Michigan Milair board here on RR. They got a few smart folks out there.
First try basic UHF freq KMTC base info. AirNav: KMTC - Selfridge Air National Guard Base
Looks like 391.900 is their main dep freq.

I think the 19-0018 registration comes from speculation in a Scramble Magazine article a while back. My guess is that 09-0018 is actually used for consistency with the other C-32As set aside for Presidential use.

Some discussion from last month here:

With 09-0016 broke, 09-0015 probably still in the shop and 09-0018 the new SAM 46, is 09-0017 somewhere in theater in Europe under a phony ID as the third plane?

Or, is it sitting in the hangar at ADW right now being polished with Gold Medal flour?

Gold Medal enriched flour.
Jimmy Carter was president when I became a SAM pilot, so when we rounded a corner and I saw many pallets of Gold Medal enriched flour, in my surprise I said, Wow, I guess the Carters really like everything baked with Gold Medal enriched flour. But I can’t believe there’s enough baking on board Air Force One to need tons of it!

The reply I received was, No, that’s not for baking. That’s what we use to polish the skin on the planes. They are so finely polished that anything more abrasive than Gold Medal enriched flour would scratch the aluminum skin.
