Makes me wonder if it was contained only to F-35's seats as none of the local F-16's or A-10's have been
out and about the last few days around here.Course being mostly Reserves maybe they all got the last weekend of the Month off :)

Oshkosh Mil departures yesterday. A New Orleans JAZZ F-15C,Sure beats CAP duty here.
A WV C-17 and pair of FA/18F Hornets from VFA-122 NAS Lemoore, prob West Coast Demo team.
I think the F-35A's were also F-35 Demo team from Hill AFB.

No, the ejection seat component is question is not limited to F-35. It affects aircraft with Martin Baker ejection seats, which include F/A-18s, T-6, F-5. F-15/16 use ACES II seats by a different manufacturer.

Guys

News saying drone stirke took out Al Qaeda leader. The recent SAM flts to MacDill related???????
I don't want to get too far off topic here, but I don't have much faith in what this administration and the CIA say about this attack. Remember during the Afghan evacuation the military mistakenly took out a family they thought was a terrorist bomber. Now they are using their "over the horizon" intelligence to do more attacks; whatever the hell that is.

Sure took a lot of anti ship missiles and bombs and guns to finally sink this tough US warship.
Last Sinkex exercise a US sub hit it dead center with massive torpedo that darn near split ship in half.
Subs stayed out of this one and let the others have all the fun.. Wouldn'twant to be on this ship's bridge as easily targeted from the air.

Coast Guard HC-130J out of Elizabeth City was searching lower Lake Michigan early this morning.
Seems odd especially in Summer CG Detroit didn't handle this, course they may have had their choppers up.

CG 6568 was also searching the area around 3pm. A Canadian C-130 from CFB Trenton showed up after 3pm. Callsign was RSCU337.

ROMA-01 KC-10 #85-0030 off Prestwick Scotland earlier this morning meeting with probably 4 Vermont F-35's.
ROMA-02 #18-46044 was support KC-46A but returned to UK after handing off the F-35's.
Should see something up North around lunch time :)
ROMA-01 seems to have cut loose from the F-35's and headed back to McGuire.

NECK18 or NICK18 (C-40 #21-0024)

Ran out and quickly caught it flying over me while heading towards Mcguire this afternoon.
