BUFF callsign sounds like ILLA (EYE-LA). 11-12-13-14
Sounds almost like ABBA-11 with her thick Montreal/French accent. LOL
Now it sounds like she's calling the BUFFs HIGHLA. It would be nice to have the cross-coupling turned on to hear the aircraft (in case someone from the Center is watching this thread).

Yep, I think it is HYLA 11.
Good propagation tonight, I am getting Wheeler-Sack tower controller loud and clear on 290.250.
Finally spelled out phonetically as HILA-11 flight.. I think
Sounded like another aircraft to me, was strong once, and weaker and broken the second time. I am "new" to this though in this area.
Wow. I can hear GTB Tower as well about 3/3. That's about 80nm from my location.
Or, if you're a malt whisky fan, ISLAY in Scottish Gaelic. Make mine a Lagavulin.

She later cleared ABBOT 14 to 54 40N 070 51W which is in Northern Quebec.

Ha, I was just in Islay not that long ago. Make mine a Kilchoman. I've spent a few evenings at the Pot Still in Glasgow.
Four LAGER tankers head north to meet someone at 0520Z (1:20 am EDT).
Maybe this BTF mission will take a tour of newest soon to be NATO members up North.

Unknown and unidentified military aircraft with Syracuse approach and requesting RNAV 28 approach at Syracuse. Callsign was brief but I couldn’t make it out, ended in 21. They’re coming in from the west.
Update at 1030: It’s FIST 21
List shows that it’s probably an F-18 from NAS North Island.
By using the SYR Live cam on YouTube I was able to confirm that it is a Hornet and it is taxiing to Million Air.
1040 - VTANG F-35s entering Viper (226.300 & 234.800)
1045 - NJANG F-16s trying to enter the Viper airspace, trying to coordinate with WEASEL 11 flight.
1046 - WEASEL 11 is 5 mins from RTB
