AR-62 Eastbound way up North is reserved tonight 0200z-0300z FL210-280.
Could be for the Minot Buffs.
KC-135 tankers moved to Pease last night assume for the above mission.
ABBOT-13 #62-3578 NJ ANG
ABBOT-14 #59-1458 Ohio ANG
ABBOT-15 #58-0119 TN ANG

They used to use the SPUR callsign for long time but seems ABBOT callsign is the one now.

Sounds like some weak Barnes A>A comms on 259.0. One guy said he's flying through a t-storm. Going to check in with Philly App now.

PACK 81 doing something different. On one of the Ft. Drum JTAC frequencies. Advised them that "we are ready for the excercise, fights on", then something that sounded like "we have Dirt, Mud, Singer, good communications, we'll keep that going for a bit". Then they left shortly after that. Not sure what they were doing ? First time I've heard a tanker say "fights on". Maybe playing with their ALR-69A warning system ?

I would assume it’s ECM work because they’ve done it before up there. Plus he probably wanted to be a fighter pilot for the day:ROFLMAO:.

2105 ECHO-1 or EXXON-1 KC-46 with GK 249.800 asks if nobody else needs gas we are gonna
head for home.. Earlier this afternoon from tape heard reference on unknown freq again about "USS Ship".

2115 local NOBLE-21 with Huntress 260.900 says we could not pursue target due to ATC traffic with deconfliction.
You guys have a phone number to ATC to let them know?
2121 local NOBLE-21 with ZDC 363.000 telling Center next time would it be easier for me to cancel and go direct 343.725(Philly Apch)
"I can dive down to 1000 feet quickly with no problems". He also does say sure is lot of airline traffic in and out of Philly A/A 259.000.

Accidental double post.. sorry.Ron got it below :)

Rgr Ron sounds like maybe E-2D calling the shots like North Group and South group targets hostile etc.
Fighters reply with D2 and other two letter callsigns... Also Ranger-16 KC-130J tanker doing laps of Va Cape.
They seem to work lower altitudes than USAF types typically do offshore.

Marl

QSL. I figured they were fairly low as my reception is not the greatest.

Thanks

2040- ABOTT 11 and 12 on LiveATC ZUL YFB. Controller has no info on the ABOTT flights, asks them what they are going to be doing.
See 4 tankers headed that way including one out of Pittsburgh.. Buffs something-11 callsign?
Then one by one drop off ADSBX over the Northern stix.Long way to go yet.
Guessing flight of 3 at least with 4 tankers.Maybe a spare.Tankers ABBOT-11,12,13,14
