New callsign for me; DENIM 54; not sure if this was a UH-60/CH-47 helo at krdg yesterday @1830L. Made a low app 125.15/119.9, then back to Ft. Indiantown Gap. Showed up on adsb as hex # with a plane icon. Reading atc asked twice what the callsign was.

1015- Heard a couple of xmissions on 130.3 which I have as an E-4B A2A. Thought I heard callsign as Crypto 25 then he said "leaving FL120 for FL170". Nothing was showing on ADS-B.

Just be aware that a corporate operator uses a call sign that sounds similar to CRYPTO as per below.....

Company: NXT JET, INC
Radio Callsign: KRYPTO
ICAO Code: KPO

Rg Ron RAVEN-01 flight of 3 A-10's up for the Ravens football game for flyover.
One of them is actually partially tracking on ADSBX but may not be correct.
RAVEN checks in on Pax River 305.200 guess gonna work down there a while before flyover.

Yeah he mentioned flyover at game but was doing something else for a while on 317.425.
Flyovers are usually 10-15 minutes before kickoffs so gives them half hour play time down there before rtb.
Good practice for TOT training :)
Think I heard then refer to a callsign Groundhog (flyover coordinator?). They're talking to him on their Ops freq 275.7.

1210- Pela 18 (E-6B # 164409 VQ-4 Det) off PAX heading south.

Which reminds me. Has anyone heard the TACAMOs use their Shado Ops freq 310.15 lately? It's been quite awhile since I've heard it used.
Haven't heard them in a while either Ron.. Usually this time of year with Deer running wild they always
request a Deer runway sweep inbound.. Nothing on Base Notams except for this temp Turkey Day closure.

RAPCON NOT AVAILABLE . PATUXENT RAPCON CLOSED NOV. 24 0400Z UNTIL NOV. 25 1200Z. FOR RADAR SERVICES CONTACT POTOMAC TRACON ON FREQUENCY 135.62 OR 127.2

AirNav has Base Ops as 302.550 but that is oldie. Maybe will plug that in again. If not search time when inbound spotted.
I usually only hear them when E-6 is inbound from East/Northeast.
AirNav: KNHK - Patuxent River Naval Air Station (Trapnell Field) Airport
