Looking at these, wondering what your opinion of the Tram 1410, and what the difference might be (besides a savings of $75)

I have MFJ 1868 on a pole that extends about 10' above my roof.
I like it..

I am located right across from KMTN. At altitude I can hear from just around Atlantic City, NE to around NYC, West to VA,WVA, MD line, South and SE to around Richmond & Norfolk areas.

Low areas I cannot get KBWI, as the signal skips over the hill formation that occurs between Baltimore City and beltway area. There are good cold or inversion days that allows BWI to come through, but most of the time it is very static scratchy at the best.

1645- Hotrod 88 (E-4B # 76-5787) out of Offutt inbound to ADW (118.4). Sec Def getting ready for an overseas trip?
I don’t believe SECDEF is going anywhere this week. SecState is going to Romania tomorrow, and VP returns to Wash from her vacation in LA (expect at least 1 C-32 westbound tomorrow morning to pick her up.) Also have France’s Macon coming to DC and Louisiana Tues-Fri. And British Royals are visiting Boston same time, but the trip isn’t “official” so I expect they’ll take BA regularly scheduled commercial.

My uncle just called me about a power outage because he was hearing about a plane into powerlines. He's not far from KGAI.

Flight track stops at the powerlines.

ADS-B Exchange - track aircraft live

From Ian Servin, Airplaneian on Twitter, rescue reportedly began just before midnight, crane attempting to remove plane.

Actually, I believe it was a pilot and a passenger, not two pilots. The female passenger was extricated first. They were sent to local trauma centers with serious but apparently non-life threatening injuries according to Montgomery County Fire Chief Scott Goldstein.

The pilot was apparently the owner of the aircraft, a civil trial lawyer who has a practice in DC.

Hearing SILVER DOLLAR calling unid on 142.75. Said they were coming up to Gordonsville which is about where HOTROD88 is showing on ADS-B. Discussing adjusting airspeed for the other A/C.
