They were on 126.1 from about Rockville all the way to landing assured just after 2100. Have they ever used that freq for Camp David arrivals?
Fuel is correct and I think your first choice 19 miles Southwest and 235 degrees is direction of Bullseye the Camp.I’m somewhat new to listening to the Guard Dog CAP. Trying to make sense of all the numbers I’m hearing.
Altitude is generally easy to understand (ascend, descend, maintain, established) at “two three zero” is 23,000ft.
Fuel gets mentioned a lot, I assume “seventeen point oh” is 17,000 pounds of fuel remaining.
My main questions are:
Is “Bullseye” Camp David?
When they say for example “Noble1 is bullseye [numbers]” are these polar coordinates?
So “Noble1 bullseye two three five nineteen” is he saying he is currently 19 miles and 235 degrees (southwest) from Camp David? The exact opposite, camp David is 235 degrees from him (he is 19 miles to the north east of camp David) Or something else?
Thanks!
Ron got ANGRY flight headed out to W-107 A/A 340.250 via GK 255.000 mentions add freq 139.1500915- Wild 1 flt (4 X F-16s 121st DC ANG) working Giantkiller (255.0) for entry into W107. A2A is 238.175.
Interesting Time article on Plant 42 and what it is like to build the B-21.That's one nice looking plane, B-21 Raider. Wonder who's going to be the first to track them on the east coast, bet it's someone in this thread.
Nice catch! They were on 126.1 from about Rockville all the way to landing assured just after 2100. Have they ever used that freq for Camp David arrivals?
