WOODN-71 #62-3562 reports off the deck at Dover 1414z headed South.
Maybe gonna take some CAP fighters down to the Islands for Potus visit?
WOODN-61 also #60-0342 like WOODN-71 did racetrack in clear air near Elizabeth City then both headed offshore
SE headed for warmer wx. Maybe they took some Oregon F/15's with them.Maybe work out of San Juan since it is not far away from Saint Croix.

Going down a little early, I see. TFR isn’t scheduled until Dec 27. I guess if they have to be away from their families for XMas, they’d rather be in the Caribbean than in cold wet tidewater VA.

maybe related…
Around 11:00E saw Maine85 doing the racetrack just below the eastern tip LI.
Newbie here…I think that’s W105?
259.9
277.6
289.0 A/R
305.25
NJ A/A freqs
All sounded similarly distant from my location. Guessing all same exercise.
Yes you nailed it. NJ ANG was out in W-105 about 90 miles east of AC. KILLER, DEVIL, DEMON, and SATAN callsigns. I made a little 16 min. video of the recordings from my location in Ct.

JOLLY11 flying less than 500' above a point in no particular pattern off the south shore of LI, was joined a little while ago by JOLLY12 who seems to be generally following him. Don't see any ships in the area - just training or an SAR situation?
Yes training. Came up with Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound on Marine Ch. 12 requesting them to take their radio guard. Doing gunnery exercises out there.

The eight F-15Cs were accompanied from LFI by 01-0193 as RCH4547.

I just considered the possibility that their trip to PR was early so that they can get everything set up and then be granted permission to fly (commercial) home for Christmas. That way when they come back on the 26th they'll be ready to fly. Otherwise, they'd have to fly down on Christmas Eve or Christmas in order to be ready to fly by the 27th.

Looking at ACARS, I guess the 2x KC-135s went into St. Croix. Are they staying to support the CAP orbits? Are two tankers enough or will additional tankers (maybe from MacDill) go down too?

Wouldn't surprise me if some MacDill tankers assisted down that way but those two KC-135's could do the job.
Yeah sure is a lot of C-17's back and forth from almost everywhere.

Charleston AFB will start out the first week of the new year with massive C-17 flyover.. Hopefully wx cooperates.Lots of pics taken :)
