AE6CF2 20-1949 C-37B flew from ADW to Atlanta Fulton County Airport FTY today again identing as SAME55 on ADS-b but talking to ATC as SAM324.

On ADS-C the plane still shows the XA300 ident from the SAM 300 GVT-ADW delivery flight.

The SAME 55 ADS-B/Mode-S ident seems to be from the February 7, 2022 test flight out of Greenville, Texas the day before delivery.

I started my aviation career at FTY with a fuel hose over my shoulder as a line boy. Uh, I mean fuel maintenance technician. Good times. (y)

In today's weird world, the term " line boy" would never be permitted. Maybe " line person" ?

I just received a complaint from the 1st dimensional society about the use of the word "line".
They were surprised to what length the 3 dimensional beings would go to measure the 1st dimensional tolerance.

I noticed that A-124 UR-82027 ADB516F arrived at IAD about 05:30 local this morning, out of Nellis.

Interesting that the aircraft arrived into Dulles from Kyiv Ukraine (took a few stops along the way) and then went to Nellis AFB. Now returns to Dulles. Maybe equipment from embassy in Kyiv ?? Makes you wonder if they go back to Ukraine what they might be taking from Nellis AFB?

Something related to a Utah Jeep fan's favorite place?

Wonder if 360.0 replaced 292.8 ?

I got a brief hit yesterday on 292.8 from SAM 46 talking with AF1 who was on the ground in Cleveland getting ready to depart.

Just guessing that 292.8 might be a numeric portmanteau of VC-25A serials 29000 and 28000. I have heard '28, this is 29, are you up?' before.

is 292.8 an 89th AW freq? I was wondering how SAM46 communicates with AF1, such as when SAM46 orbits near AF1 until AF1 is confirmed able to take off and SAM46 then precedes AF1 back to ADW.

Here in flyover country I'm rarely within radio range of SAM 46 or AF1 when they depart. However, I have seen SAM 46 get updates over satcom text messages like the ones Terry posted above.

From last July's AF1 PHL visit, SAM 46 launched out of Andrews to cover the return leg and got these updates on the President's progress getting back to the aircraft via motorcade:

FPL# K2059 KADW-KADW FOR 90017/SAM46 HAS BEEN FILED FOR A 1930Z DEPARTURE ON 13 JULY 2021.

From context, I think the 'DIGITAL PULL ASIDE' is the selfies with POTUS after an event.

It appears to me from watching ADSBExchange and listening to LiveATC feeds that SAM 46 usually makes the turn for home right after AF1 calls ready for taxi and does not wait for the actual takeoff. ACARS generates an 'out' message as soon as the plane taxis on its own power. Many of the showstoppers on a Boeing like a pneumatic engine start valve stuck open or closed will manifest themselves before taxi in my experience.
