Actually, REALM 69 took off from Sanford Airport, KSFB. LOKI 82 is burning a Northstar WBFM data signal on 337.3.
They do appear to be joining for refueling, comms on 343.5.

NASA Wallops launch still a go at 12:39 local.. Seems breezy to me here but say launch conditions 75% favorable.

At least they did not plan a launch yesterday - my peak wind gust was 48 mph yesterday

Nice. Surprisingly not much of a contrail till early mid way and then was short.
Thought with frigid temps aloft would be good trail but maybe wind has something to do with that.
Plus the launch was away from us so the angle changes the perspective as well.....versus up the coast

1244- I heard a pilot talking to Washington Center on 127.975(ZDC54 Salisbury) mention he saw a "quick flash of light" to his right. Another pilot just piped in and mentioned the rocket. They were chatting for a few seconds. Didn't catch either flight# but i t was the first time I heard one pilot respond to another pilot on a ATC frequency

I corrected it the fingers aren't working today YES that was the frequency.. I never heard two pilots talking to each other on a center frequency before. The conversation was very quick but it was still very neat
Happens a lot more than you think...just depends on the level of activity on the frequency
