New additions to the 167th inventory?

Sound like new members of the 167th. Both former 62AW McChord tails.
Nice catches!

Some tankers eastbound today EXPO 81 58-0095 and DEVIL 81 flight into KACY dodging wx.
Notice couple of DC ANG tankers as well DEECEE 94,95.
Prob all for Andrews F-16's and Atlantic City F-16's coming back from Red Flag which
ended officially yesterday..

DEECEE 94 brought Capital 81 Flight back then proceeded to ACY (Possibly with AC Personnel and Equipment?)

DEECEE 95 brought Capital 91 flight back.

Currently approx 20 miles offshore NE of Atlantic City

Yeah I think OTIS 02 and earlier OTIS 82 went home empty handed except for gear I assume as both
were up at FL 20k plus.. Maybe a KC-10 will bring them home..

Global Power exercise going on now.. Couple E-6B's up from Pax and Buffs
went offshore Northeast.
Traffic on 11175 HF with LADYFAIR looking for GOLF CLUB.
Various EAM's being broadcast on HF 11175 as of 2130z

Forgot to post earlier but the 167th has 2 visitors that arrived yesterday afternoon -

95-0103 arrived 16:22 local as DECOY55
and
99- 0060 arrived 16:52 local as DECOY53

Above was on 7/30

Today 99-0060 off from MRB at 12:45 local heading northeast at 17000' as BH

Changed heading to 090 at Harrisburg

In the vicinity of Ephrata commenced a 180 ° turn back to Harrisburg then into a heading of 225 ° , descending to 6000', looks to be back to MRB

Guys,

Today, in the mid-1400 hour EDT there was quite a bit of chat on 319.7 secondary for AR636. Never caught any callsigns but sounded like several fighter-types. They may have been coming in from overseas as one of the pilots mentioned " after 5 hours in this plane I just want to land."

Anyone else catch anything from these guys?

KC3 ZZ338 RRR2201 just landed at Dulles.

United360 into Dulles just hit a bird at the SKINS (roughly Rt29 inline with rwy 1C) approach waypoint.

Guys,

This was posted on UDXF. Passing it on in case some of you might be interested.

From today's ARRL Letter ( ARRL Letter ):MARS Sets Interoperability Communications Exercise for August 15
US Department of Defense (DOD) Military Auxiliary Radio Service (MARS) operators in the US, Germany, and Japan, will take part in an interoperability communications exercise on Monday, August 15, from 1200 UTC to 2359 UTC. The focus of the exercise is "to train during a simulated communications-constrained environment using radio-only communication capabilities," MARS said.
Throughout the exercise, MARS operators will reach out to and attempt connect with Amateur Radio operators at the local and regional levels using HF, VHF, and UHF. For the purposes of this exercise, the use of the 60 meter interoperability channels -- dial frequencies 5330.5 and 5346.5 kHz -- are authorized and encouraged. Other bands will be coordinated by MARS members at the local/regional level with their ARES/RACES/club counterparts.
The exercise is tied in with a larger DOD exercise, which will include participation by active duty forces. -- Thanks to Army MARS Program Manager Paul English, WD8DBY

Yeah heard MISTY 51 12:30pm local and MISTY 52 12:33pm local both dropping down
with ZDC UHF into Langley..Must have been coming South.
Waypoints SWL Snow Hill then CCV Cape Charles..Maybe were out up on the W386 range
I know the MISTY 11 is used by B-2 Reserve guys out of Whiteman.
Seems bombers have monopoly on any 11 callsign.
Thought I saw report MISTY 51 also used by Tyndall F-22's but not sure..

1415 local RAVEN 01 flight and 03 flights headed up offshore A/C to W-107 at FL15k eventually.
Rare they get offshore over water for target practice..
RAVENS each carrying two AGM-65 Maverick Missiles.. They can wreck a ship ok..
Very large weapons as seen below loaded on the A-10.
