SALTY286 (AE2EFA) inbound for Davison AAF. 229.4
I have heard some of the McGuire KC-135s & KC-10s pass Blackjack msgs as well. In my listening area the McGuire acft are the only ones I've heard using Blackjack msgs.
All I can say is...WOW

Guys,

After the exercise CAP 4529 advised Bay Watch that he would be landing at Cambridge. Not sure if that is his home base or he was just dropping in there because it was close by.

All clear now- it was an unattended camera in a seat back07/31/12
2110 local- Breaking news sources saying 2 fighters intercepted at passenger jet and are escorting back to Logan Airport due to a suspicious package on board. If any one up north is hearing any thing. I'm getting very weak comms on 228.9 but can't really make it out.

SLAM 31, shortly after the intercept, lost all instruments and declared an IFE. SLAM 32 stayed with him all the way back to Barnes. They allowed SLAM 31 to land and SLAM 32 switched to Bradley Departure to stay clear until the runway could be cleared. I was having a hard time hearing HUNTRESS on 228.9, I can usually hear the Boston area transmitter quite well, but with the rain, it was real tough to copy all around.
