2115: The CAP is still in place but the same old story has developed at Eglin...bad weather. The replacement duo for ARROW 21/22 has been delayed and apparently 23 got off late but not 24. So, when 23 eventually gets here, 21 will leave and 22 will stay to wait for 24 to show up. TANKER 01 is scheduled to leave the CAP at 2150 local time. They will refuel the current pair of fighters once more before leaving and have between 20-25,000 pounds to give. The expected air-to-air freq 369.15 is in use by ARROW 21 and 22 where they griped a bit about their replacements not getting off the deck before the bad weather arrived at Eglin.
Travis: She is a sweet sounding gasser, isn't she?
2138: TANKER 02 is arriving on station about 3 minutes late «260.9» (Turns out to be about 13 minutes late.)
2141: ARROW 23 saying he's about 30 minutes out from the CAP at this time and that 24 will take off in about an hour. 22 is going to TANKER 01 to topoff. «260.9»
2156: TANKER 01 cleared out of the CAP and will RTB...direct Indian Head. «135.525» ARROW 21 will topoff with TANKER 02 as soon as he arrives and didn't need to use 01. TANKER 01, along with that great voice, signs off at 2200.
2227: So, at this point, ARROW 22 has left the CAP and headed home. ARROW 21 and 23 are currently holding the air above D.C. while awaiting 24 to arrive so 21 can head out. Sweet Voice...I mean TANKER 01 has been replaced by TANKER 02.
2230: ARROW 21 is heading for TANKER 02 to top off his tanks before heading down the road, hopefully soon. «260.9»
