Check out the RR Wiki Live Audio article:

Live Audio - The RadioReference Wiki

You have some choices for software listed there - There is probably other software out there that will allow you to stream but just may not have been documented there yet.

If you're running Windows XP or Vista, I'd recommend Scannercast:

Ham Radio Station K1PGV

Assuming your system has all the prerequisites for ScannerCast (see their web page for requirements), it should be a fairly trivial task to follow the initial directions to get the program installed. Then work on getting your audio working.

If you are planning to stream to RR and are pretty much set on doing it (i.e. not wishy washy), then you might as well go and apply to be a feed provider now - get that ball rolling so that once you have the software configured you can start streaming.

Go here to apply for a feed (being careful to read the information on that page before proceeding to fill out the feed app):

Becoming a Live Audio Feed Provider on RadioReference.com

The folks here on the Live Audio forum are very helpful - but keep in mind a lof of questions have been asked, and 99% of them have been answered. My suggestion would be to read the Live Audio forums and look to see if somebody hasn't already answered a question before you pose it.

Once you decide upon the software package you'll use for streaming and you have applied to provide a feed, jump in here with your questions and you should be able to get any help you need..
