Hello, you can have the idea for the next update, to put a button so that we can see the names (renamed) of (gssi, issi) in big on the screen where we see the traffic, a rectangle below that looks the same as what we see when we press F12. It would be nice to be able to see it while we see the traffic of that moment. (large text).

Also add the idea of having a button where you can leave the fixed program on the screen and not minimize when we work or click the screen.

Thank you

As always grateful for the work done.

Does anyone else have problems with SDR# crashing when using TNM?
Mine runs 24/7 and I sometimes have to restart it twice a day due to the message "SDR# has stopped working"
I'm using SDR# 1700 with one of the cheap old black RTL SDRs.
Not sure if its the hardware or software causing it to crash?
The machine it runs on is a Quad Core 2.8Ghz CPU (8 logical cores), 16GB of RAM and an SSD so I don't think its the PC...

Thanks

Thanks hamradionl. Sometimes it will run fine for maybe a few days, maybe a week, but recently it has been crashing a lot. I've not changed anything else on the machine, so I guess it could be the old RTL stick starting to fail...?

I've now swapped from my old black RTL stick to a Nooelec SMARTSDR stick and have been testing over the last few days. I'm still getting SDR# crashing.
I made a mistake in my earlier post, I'm actually using SDR# version 1716.
I might try to either re-install SDR# at the weekend or uninstall / reinstall an earlier version see if that helps....

Check if 'crash.txt' exists in SDR# folder.
If it does, delete it and re-run SDR# until it crashes again.
When SDR# has crashed, check if 'crash.txt' been re-created and post contents it has.

Also check Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application to see what has been reported for SDR# at time of crash.

Without these reports, finding cause will be like finding a needle in a field of hay stacks.

Thanks "thewraith2008"

I didn't know about the crash.txt file. I do have one and its contents are as follows...

The given key was not present in the dictionary.

at mscorlib.dll.ExecutionContext.Run (IL offset: 0x2b)
at mscorlib.dll.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart (IL offset: 0x8)

There are also 3 events in the Application Eventlog around the time of the last crash as follows....

The given key was not present in the dictionary.

Exception Info: System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException

OK, those reports are showing that a entry (Key,Value) was expected but not seen. (which dictionary is not stated)
Problem is the report is not telling us exactly where that problem is occurring.

If you could capture another crash and post results here to see if we see the same thing again.
Make sure to delete the crash.txt file before you begin.

Thank you.
Latest crash.txt from overnight is exactly the same...

The given key was not present in the dictionary.
at mscorlib.dll.Dictionary`2.get_Item (IL offset: 0x1e)
at SDRSharp.TetraNetMon.dll.‮‭‬‮‪‪‮‍‬‪‬‏‬‎‪‍‭‎‭‬‌‍‮.‎‭‫‏‍‬‭‌‭‌‏‫‎‫‏‭‍‬‭‎‎‭‎‫‮ (IL offset: 0x271)

at mscorlib.dll.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart_Context (IL offset: 0x14)
at mscorlib.dll.ExecutionContext.RunInternal (IL offset: 0x79)
at mscorlib.dll.ExecutionContext.Run (IL offset: 0x0)
at mscorlib.dll.ExecutionContext.Run (IL offset: 0x2b)
at mscorlib.dll.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart (IL offset: 0x8)

I think I'll try either reinstalling SDR# 1716 or rolling back to a previous version...

Thanks

I would not think an earlier version would make a difference with this issue.

Hello, I have a question, would it be possible to add to TNM the option of downloading from the network and saving SDS messages like in TTT? Thank you

Please, where can i find version 1716 to download? I have found the 1700 but if possible I would like to use the 1716 for testing.
Thanks for your help

@thewraith2008
While not impossible to add, TNM was always intended to be a simple voice only trunk follower ignoring any data communications.

I understand, I liked its operation in my network, where I can listen to 3 channels at the same time, and unfortunately TTT only one and this can still be heard from one side of the conversation and in TNM both, so here is my question about SDS

SDR# 1700
Netmon 1.1.2.1
Set to main = Single fallow = oke
Set to main = one master, other slave= not
Jump to secondary voice fallow, sometime not jump back to main

/SDR#1700/NetMon1.1.2.1/
or
/NetMon1.1.2.1/
Not possible to delete the MAP/DIR inside or outside SRD# map/DIR with these files, so program or running file or something is keep hold/busy/block from writing or deleting
When close Netmonitor,
files Naudio + SDRsharp.Tetranetmon + TetraNetMon seem keep running in background?
Not found in running programs
Reproduced 2x
Restart PC to get the whole thing close and start over

Not sure why you are having these issues with following not returning.
Your full setup and what you are seeing has not been fully explained for me to understand.

If SDR#/TNM as hung, you should see a related process in task manager (SDRSharp.exe, TetraNetMon.exe)
If you don't see a related process in task manager then I don't know what issue is.

Since I don't have TETRA network anymore, I don't use these programs anymore.
