As I have said before with TACN dropping the per user fees I have seen a large shift in agencies moving to the TACN system.
Just here in the west you have DYERSBURG and DYER COUNTY, UNION CITY and OBION COUNTY and LAKE COUNTY joining. The Union City Site is in the building stages now to add local coverage. As soon as they start using the system fulltime I will post TG's.

Haywood county supposedly joined back in February, but there is no information (except freqs) on RR.

48511 is a Morgan County Talkgroup for TACN. It looks like the radios have been strapped to only transmit in secure mode on that Talkgroup. Unsure what its exact usage or name is but Morgan Rescue 1 is using it to communicate with Morgan County Sheriff’s Office units on scene of a law enforcement incident that rolled over into Anderson County. Their normal VHF analog channel has very poor coverage where they are located.

Interesting. Did TACN decrease fees or drop them altogether?

If you are on the TACN System they have dropped the per radio fee. With that being said if your coverage is not as good as you need it then you the end user are responsible for the new site to be built or to add the extra channels to the site you will be using. I have been told that the part of the system that is the Middle Tennessee and North Georgia System that is part of the TACN System still charges users.

Update for Monroe County I have not submitted this to the database because I want to listen more to confirm but I have been hearing our dispatch and what I heard as 800 units (Sweetwater pd) on talk group 9515

I am hearing Sweetwater Fire being dispatched on 9527 Monroe County Fire Incident 3. Not sure if it's temporary or permanent.
They are not even using the PD TGID they were "supposed" to be using, the word is they will have their own tower in the near future so who knows what is going on.

That's interesting. Refresh my memory, was it they or was it madisonville that was on their own frequency, and went DMR or something? Where will their tower go?
Sweetwater was dmr for awhile and they are supposed to getting their own site to improve coverage in town but I am bot sure where it's going to be
