I will have to monitor and see what's up that's weird
There has been a lot false/possibly malicious submissions with information in the past on purpose originating from certain accounts in this area. There was “evidence” of this and it was suspected they changed accounts when action was taken. Some of the current and former admins are aware of this. It could have been one of those and it is weird that someone would do that. I suspect that 9531 was never Sweetwater PD Dispatch and that 9515 was already designated Sweetwater PD Dispatch. It is also possible Sweetwater FD Dispatch was always 9527 and not 9530. Just did not know if anyone else was aware that is a possibility because some of some past issues.

like a local? or someone on RR just generally up to no good?

(I had no idea. I do know the state is aware of this discussion on here, but I wouldn't think they'd send anybody to weed seed the database.)

There is a local guy that would malisciously add in false data with good data. I used to get seriously flaming pissed off because of that guy. When I an other admins took action to stop his stupid crap, he got another account and for a bit only subbed good data. Then again began adding in poisionous data to corrupt the DB. It seriously was a rough time. (Yes I used to be not only an admin, but also a mod here, and for the most part I loved it, but there were a couple of issues that needed a double ought buckshot not a rock salt load to fix if you get my drift.) The ones who add false info on purpose might think they are not violating NDA's and protecting their jobs, but thats so not true. Even if the information is false, its full on violating an NDA and will get you fired, possibly even sued, and/or imprisoned depending on the level of black hole you signed it in. So its better to A: Don't make it obvious your the souce of data, or B: Don't submit the data if your in those positions of "Insider Information"... Then there are the super secret squirrells that seem to think that they own all local info and think they can stop anyone else from having information by corrupting the DB here. Dumbassesinextremusmaximusidiocy! You go ahead and try to think your hiding info. I roll through with multiple scanners, and possibly an SDR doing search modes I WILL find out what's there. If its on the air, its not your special super secret lil one!

I wander how long it's going to be before it's up and running I haven't seen anything in the fcc database
What i was told from a good source is that they have the grant and were supposed to start the building process this month.

If it was a personal project like a ham repeater it would be going in a weekend, but being a government repeater it will probably take a month to decide what brand tape to wrap the connectors in.

Oliver Springs VFD is now operational on TACN. They were able to purchase 16 portable radios and 5 Mobiles radios. They are using Kenwood Viking Portables and mobiles. Anderson County Personnel and Commissioners also met this month about funding a Countywide Radio System upgrade.

Perhaps as many as 3 additional tower sites in Anderson County, so I'm told.

Wonder if that means a move to TACN, or building out a new radio system? I remember back in the day, they had several repeaters with a lot of different tone combinations for the Sheriff's Office, at least.
Anderson County Fire Commission is requesting the County Commission budget $1.25 million for TACN.

The Anderson County Budget Committee approved $1.25 million for TACN it now goes to the full county commission for approval. The EMA director stated they had a quote for Kenwood radios and the State will pay for new site build in the county to improve existing coverage. Right now only the county FDs, rescue squad, EMS, and city of Clinton FD and PD are not on TACN. Not sure if the money includes bringing Clinton FD and PD or just the remaining county agencies to TACN.

Anderson County voted for $1.25 million for TACN. They were told radios are for county VFDs, EMS, and Highway dept. Sounds like city of Clinton PD and FD will be the only agencies in the county not on TACN unless the city upgrades radios. County hopes to have everything in place by July 1, 2024 depending on pager delivery. So seems they are going to digital pagers for county VFDs and not patching through existing UHF system.
