It is Lenoir City Utilities Board (LCUB). For some reason they have not been using their normal TG of 7548.Keep getting TG 7567 on the Madisonville Tower the past couple days, very talkative and sounds like utility work and mentioned Campbell Station a couple times
I'm getting TG 47041 occasionally on the Jackson tower. Based on it's proximity in the RR database, and the RIDs, I'd guess it's a State Wide THP talkgroup. Since the RIDs are fairly unique, I'd also guess it's a "car-to-car" talkgroup. I could be wrong.TGID'S Being picked up on the whitehouse tower. No description to be found of who they belong to
Seems like they still havnt swapped over yet. Iv heard they are having some coverage issues with the system in this area. Screenshot shows tgids I have found so far.Anything new in Robertson Co?
I agree.I think that TG 49898 that is in the database as “medical transport (Buffalo Mountain area)” is NET Trans (Northeast Tennessee Regional Public Transit). I can’t imagine it being anything else given the fairly large volume of traffic on that TG. It isn’t a business and their service is not limited to medical transport.
Can anyone else confirm?

Having issues where I'm hearing dispatch just fine, but depending on the area of the call, I'm not picking up the traffic. I assume this is because they are either hitting the Joelton tower, which is just outside my antenna range, or the Adams tower, which I cannot reach. I'm still trying to understand the whole TACN network. I assume if they're out of range of the tower I'm monitoring, they would connect to other towers with different control channels. I currently have a directional antenna pointed towards the Whitehouse tower, which allows me to pick them up. Is there any way to pick up the other two towers? I’m approximately 34 miles from the Joelton tower area and roughly 37 miles from Adams. There's Adams (001-050) about halfway between Springfield and Clarksville, Robertson HS (001-034) in Cross Plains, then there's Joelton (001-051). It's actually in Davidson county, but only about 10 miles South of Springfield.
"I've got a directional antenna pointed toward the Whitehouse tower, which connects to my SDR setup using Trunk-Recorder. I have the proper number of SDR dongles to pick up all the frequencies listed for that tower without any issues. I'm not sure what you mean by delay; there’s no setting in Trunk-Recorder for delay that I know of."If you are hearing Dispatch on a Site you will also hear the Car on the same Site how long is your DELAY set to?
How many Scanlites (Favorites) are you scanning?
What type Scanner are you using?
Just a Common it is not working without telling us the whole story there is no way for us to help.
That is a good reason why we need more TACN Node providers (and for the other pS systems, HAM repeaters (MTEARS maybe?), CONV PS, railroads, and Aircraft call nodes too! The more the merrier) especially TACN and other muti site systems in the state. Your post is full of good info Jblack on how Muti site and Statewide systems workIt's possible that agency is still in the process of switching over and they have a simulselect setup on the dispatch side between TACN and something conventional, and the field unit is on the conventional channel?
As others said, if all units in a talk group are on TACN, and a unit is affiliated to the site your monitoring, you should hear all traffic on that talk group. Example: I monitor several sites around Knoxville (not on KX Simulcast for this example). THP D1 Dispatch talk group is almost always on Sharps Ridge, but only shows up on Windrock, Cross Mtn, or Greentop when a trooper on that talk group is actually in those areas (and affiliated). If you're just monitoring a single site, and no units from that agency are affiliated to that site, you won't hear any traffic.
This is one of the reasons why the Calls platform is good for monitoring trunked talk groups. If traffic on any calls node heard a talk group, the traffic shows up on the calls platform. Of course, this relies on members to have nodes setup to ingest various sites across the system. And if several different members are streaming the same area, it offers redundant ingest nodes in case someone goes off line (like a network or power outage).
