Anyone out there know what make/model those 'pointed' puck roof antennas are on the scout cars? Are the multiband or just for MWS or just voice?
- Thanks in advance

Hiding in a coffee shop.
That's what I figured.

Cellular, GPS, WiFi, sometimes other bands.

GPS for AVL use.
Cellular might be for AVL sent over cellular or for mobile terminals.
WiFi can be for mobile terminals, uploading reports, camera video, etc.

They use cellular for the MDT/MPS. So does the OPP but they use the antenna highstupid posted.

That antenna that was posted is an older-style that is being phased out.

New "spec" antenna config is:

-Motorola HAF4013 (re-badged PCTEL MPLV700) for voice radio, on the trunk
-PCTEL PCTHPMIMO-SF for WiFi Data, on the roof (fat white puck)
-Unknown brand GPS antenna, on the roof (thin white puck)
-PCTEL MLPVMB/LTE for cellular data - two on the roof on left and right side (diversity setup I'd guess)
