I'm not sure what your point is here. You're an expert at made up geography and nobody else is? Arcola is in Upper Providence Township. So is Mont Clare, where you have previously claimed to be from. There is no locale in Montgomery County known as Springertown or Surry. Fruitville is near E Greenville on some maps, but isn't an official name (other than for Fruitville Road), so it doesn't show up on many maps. You cannot find most of these names on the official Upper Providence zoning map, on the official PennDOT Type 10 map for Montgomery County, on Google Maps, on a USGS topographic map, or anywhere else.
You troll all over the internet using the same name. I've seen your rants against the Mont Clare Fire Company on the Phoenix newspaper's website. I would suggest that you settle yourself down and stop puffing up your feathers. While you're cooling off, you should also call a computer repair place to have your keyboard fixed. There appears to be an issue with your caps lock key.

If you want to rant about money the county should or should not be spending, go comment on some more newspaper articles covering the issue. Between the Times Herald, the Reporter, the Mercury, and other papers covering Montgomery County, you'll be able to find some place better for a rant like this.

Granted I left MontCo a few years back, but 154.205 was for our Alpha pagers. If you want to know frequencies, check in the database, or with a local person that is radio savvy.

Municipalities in Pennsylvania will purchase their own own equipment, and provide for their own public safety, not because they are "stubborn", but because they are obligated to do so by law. PA is not a "state". It is a "Commonwealth", where much greater responsibility is delegated to the municipal layer.
I have no idea what the deal is in Chester County, but if what is stated here is fact (that the county purchases all of the radio equipment for the individual companies), I can almost assure you that the county recovers these costs via some kind of service fees to the municipalities. The county government is not funded to provide them, so they probably must recover the costs somehow.

Yes, Chester County supplies each and every station in the county with EF Johnson portables and mobiles. They also supply us with MDCs and SMUs, and Pagers that are county property. However some Departments (or companies) do purchase their own radios, but mostly for their private talkaround channels.
