If it's a P25 system, all you need are the control channels. The system and scanner do the rest. If you got to ID SCANNING, it's trunking correctly. Changing the System Options and setting ID SEARCH to ON will result in ID SEARCHING and you should hear any TGs on the system that are NOT AVOIDED or disabled and whose SERVICE TYPES are enabled if you have the TGs programmed in. Check these three possibilities. (enable all the SERVICE TYPES, de-program or enable all the Quick Keys, and make sure nothing is in the AVOID list).

That is why I had him do the ID Search. Looking at the NH forums he is not alone in what he is trying to do.

Well I tried 1 last time feels like I did this 100 times. I erased everything started from scratch. Still 1 TG works that's it. Admins I know this is Vol Group if you could update the database it would be helpful not just me but others.

You could take a look at Scan New England's database if you have not done that already and see if their info is any different.

Note post 41... (enable all the SERVICE TYPES, de-program or enable all the Quick Keys, and make sure nothing is in the AVOID list)

If one channel works, the system itself is likely programmed correctly.

If one channel works, the system itself is likely programmed correctly.

1. I already enabled all service tabs

2. I erased my scanner for like the 20th time nothing is on avoid.

3. If 1 channel works then why are the others not working? You'd think "Avoid" but nothing is checked .

4. Look at the quick list there is 99 of them. Do I check them all?

If you did not assign any quick keys it wont show any. That is ok. Nothing should be locked out. Are you still in ID Search?

Like Voyager said, If one TG is working the rest should come in. You seem to have everything right. Is it confirmed that the old system is dead and everything is switched over to the new system? That is all I can think of at this time that would cause this issue.

We have fully switched over. Thanks guys for trying. Just hope the DB gets updated.

When my city switched over to a new system they went on a state system until the new system was ready.

Personally, I would try programming a new P25 system with just the control channels and in ID SEARCH mode to make sure it acts the same.

scanner is now working. I programmed under P25 manually and now it works so when I did it the first time via Sentinel it must have programmed a different system.

I'm glad you got it working. Now you can send in the right info to RR. Good job.

inputting data in Nashua RR file

I was wondering if this info was going to be put in Nashua profile so it can be transfered using Win 500 software for Pro-106. Thanks
