Other than the model number what is the difference.
I've just bought a UBCD536PT, but when I connect to the AU version of Sentinel it has all the US and Canadian stuff.

This is a very late reply to your post but did you find out what the differences were. I have recently been looking myself and I can see that the "HP" has a wifi unit for it and allows you to connect to it from your iPad etc. I am having problems finding out anything about the Australian/NZ "PT" model.

No, I haven't found any other differences.
However, it won't use the Proscan software.
So I might have been better off buying the US version.
There is a PDF manual for it, but I guess you've already looked at it.

On looking at the AU/NZ Manual, it would appear that there is no ability to plug into the rear of the unit, the WIFI Dongle that is available for the USA HP model, would that be correct, as I haven't seen the rear outlets of the AU/NZ model.
I'm interested in being able to have the unit running and still be able to listen to it from say my iPad or iPhone or Android tablet like they can with the USA Version.

You will also notice that the ‘Australian’’ UBCD536-PT doesn’t have the WI-FI print under the #5 on the keypad as the BCD536-HP does. So I’m not sure if GPS can be used on a AU model 536. But it does have the USB port on the rear for that option.
FWIW, I saw a Australian using his ?BCD536-?? not sure which version US or AU with a GPS puck driving around with the dongle installed showing how it works by finding new areas as he drives through different cities or suburbs. I’ll try and find the video and post it here.IMG_2021.jpeg

I had a little misunderstanding. I realised WI-FI and GPS are 2 different options and what I should of said is, the WI-FI option can’t be used on the AU version 536 and I think the GPS option can be used.
