Hi, I hope I don't sound like an idiot, I was given this scanner as a gift for Christmas im trying to learn how to use it. My question is since this is an analog scanner will it still pick up the police and fire channels I don't know the difference between digital scanners and analog, I hope mine will still work to pick up the police,fire and emergancy channels im trying to figure out how to program it but not having much luck. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated, thanks

It doesn't appear that it will work with your county. The RR database shows conventional P-25 and TGID's on the WISCOM P-25 statewide system.
Your best bet is to ask in the WI state forum, further down the forums page.
There are some P-25 scanners for sale in the 'For Sale' forum. Take a look.

Any chance the gifter saved the receipt? If so, hopefully they would understand your dilemma and let you "upgrade".
