the lower part of 462mhz is generally used by businesses....what type of traffic are you hearing?
can you tell if it has a pl or dpl tone or if it is part of a ltr trunking system?

I finally found out what this is after listening for days..........
It the Montgomery County School buses.
It became clear today after a sub driver dropped a kid off at the wrong place and had a few left that he didn't know what to do with.
Geez was this poor driver ever stressed. Lots of talk today on there. I thought that guy was going to have a stroke.

For two days now I have been listening to 155.820.... sounds like students being transported between various hotels and the Seaton Center on UK's campus....no license listed anywhere near Lexington for this one...

I am in the midst of adding site information to the verious trunked systems in the state--
if I can find it, anyway... need some help:
Is anyone monitoring any traffic on the Alexandria Public Safety TRS?
Just wondering, the ULS site has this license as cancelled....
It looks like Business Radio of Louisville has been "Nexteled",
anyone hear anything on that system? Can't find any info on these systems:
BRJ Partners or C&C Communications

thanx for the help....

That Alexandria TRS should turn into a Campbell Co. TRS. That is the system that Campbell Co. units are running MDT's & 800 comms off of. I will try to find out specifics.

These former Nextel analog systems in Lexington have been deprecated in the rr.com data base because the freqs are mostly unassigned and some have been assigned to other licensees...

Nextel (Lexington - 4B33)
Nextel (Lexington - 0E02)
Nextel (Lexington - 0706)
Nextel (Lexington - 6A3B)

There are Nextel systems in Bowling Green, Glasgow, Danville and Louisville still listed but noted to be analog... if any of you in those areas have a few spare slots in your scanners could you load the freqs and see if there is any traffic and then submit the info... any housekeeping help would be greatly appreciated....

There's a lot of that going on.... one of those control channels is on the "new" Lexington TRS that hasn't completely made the streets yet.... one of the others is on a system I haven't conjured.... They're falling like dominoes! have you heard anything on any of the other freqs with the Danville Nextel system? I was there earlier this week but didn't have time to load them into the scanner.... Still more work to do on them this weekend.

U/I 155.445 Lexington Area

Anyone know who is using the 155.445 repeater (input unknown) in the Lexington / Richmond area?

I never did look for a CTCSS/DCS.

Only voice-inversion scrambling has been heard on this and there is no listing for 155.445 anywhere in the Commonwealth!

Yes, trashman, it seems like Nextel (Danville-0E08) has been
Nextelled-the lone freq in the data base belongs to
Hertz Rent a Car in Boone County....

Anyone in the area monitor anything on
Radio Communications Systems 2 in Louisville or
Radioland 800Mhz EDACS (Kentucky) in La Grange or
I can't find a thing in the FCC data base on these...

PRO96--I have been listening to 155.445 all afternoon and have heard nothing.... when did you hear it, could you have been hearing transmission on the Ky Law Enforcement Network freq--155.475? Didn't think anyone had Vox Inversion on it because it is a mutual aid freq, but stranger things have happened! I was just wondering where you were when you monitored it.... there are enough of us out here we can find this thing.

Re: U/I 155.445 Lexington Area

I was on I-75, quite some time ago, during the 9-5 workweek, going from Cincinnati to the depot in Richmond and searching the band when I found it, and placed it on the MONIX list.

It was not "Bleed Over" from 155.475, or anything else, and I did receive it both on scanners and with 2-ways, all of withj have different IF's.

Would start to receive it from North of Clay's Ferry to South of the Scott County line, so it semed to be near downtown Lexington, favoring coverage to the south.

Thought it could be the Lexington PD intelligence unit, not a lot of traffic, but was definately a repeater.

Washington Co. EMS uses that frequency. Their repeater is suppose to be a mixed mode analog/P-25 repeater. I will take the pl tone out of the pro96 and see what I hear.

Has anyone in Central Kentucky monitored 151.145 in P-25? If so, any idea who it might be?
