SDS100/SDS200: USDS100 Upgrades Questions

Firstly,
Regarding the DMR, NEXEdge & PROVoice upgrades - the uniden site states the DMR & Provoice will NOT be deleted when you upgrade the firmware or next reprogram the radio but does NOT mention the NexEdge here at all.
Can anyone confirm if this is an oversight or does the NexEdge upgrade In fact deleted if I upgrade firmware or reprogram the radio after downloading the nexedge code.

Secondly I am considering buying a USDS100 with all 3 of the above code upgrades.
Can someone please tell me can I actively scan all these different systems at the same time as the original open traffic not requiring codes ie GRN PSN etc etc
Or are you limited to scanning for specific systems at a time?

I wouldn't waste my money on the Provoice upgrade, it's now EOL. There are only a handful of PV systems (at least in the USA) still in service. None are identified in the RRDB for Australia. Having a look at the database I'm seeing the following DMR & NXDN systems in service in New South Wales. If you have no intentions on monitoring any of these then I wouldn't bother paying for those upgrades either. Anyway you can't mix modes when you set up a single system. You can include all 3 system types in the same favorites list and scan through them one at a time. Hope this makes sense & welcome to the RR forums!

I've viewed the RR info and am aware of the limited coverage, here in NSW anyway.
I have no need but figured if I am spending 900+ on the USDS100 it made sense, for me anyway, to pay the 25% extra and know I could scan all available networks.
That's just my thought process and i am fortunate enough to be able to afford that spend on their hobby these days.
After reading your post I would almost definitely stagger, or at least delay each upgrade until I become bored with the previously discovered.

A quick question regarding the RR Site info for tower coverage distances - are these miles or kilometres and can it be changed in a setting?
