Virtual Control

Can't get virtual control to work in arc patrol. Shows home patrol, but nothing works. Just sits there. Any ideas? Drivers have been downloaded and installed.

Select the correct com/usb port and then press 'START' and make sure HP1 is in serial mode.

My ARC PATRP; virtual control does nothing as well after I have gone through all the steps to try to be able to use it. Do you think you could put up a video on Youtube explaining about the serial drivers and the settings in the lower left of the ARCPATROL software?

Before starting VC make sure that HP-1 is connected to USB port, switched on and in serial mode. Then open VC and select the correct USB/COM port assigned to the HP-1 and then press START.
Current HP-1 command set is very limited, you can only hold on system/dep/channel or use arrows to go to next/prev system/dep/channel.

To check if the USB serial driver is installed, check in Device Manager, (shown in left picture)

After you have started ArcPatrol and the Virtual Scanner, use the dropdown to select the USB Serial port and then select Start..If you have more than one selection and the first one doesn't work, select the next one and select Start again...With the right one, you should see on the VS screen the same as is on the HP1 itself..

That depens on Uniden, the current HP-1 command set is too limited.
