Can't beleive there has not been any updates to this thread in over a year! I just purchased a BCD536HP in Jan. with Pro Voice update to listen to Allegan Co.. There are quite a few of TG's that are unidentified. Is anybody listening to them? Would really like to get Allegan Updated! I do have ProScan 10.0, but not sure how to get detailed info besides TG's and UID's.

I hope some of this information might help with the Roscommon County Page.

Roscommon County Road Commission is now DMR, same freq. I am almost positive they are MotoTrbo flavor.

155.0250/146.2 - Denton Twp. EMS (aka "Alpha Base," a seperate agency from Denton Fire ) and Houghton Lake EMS (Station 1100) are dispatched over this frequency as well.

156.0000/146.2 (aka TRI TWP) is a tactical/fireground repeater for all agencies dispatched on 155.0250.

I also have some information that may be helpful in the Wiki regarding the fire channel names. Central dispatch will often refer to the channels as the following:

"Red" 155.0250 (Stations Alpha Base (DTEMS), 100, 500, 800, 1100)
"White" 154.9800 (Stations 200, 700)
"Blue" 154.4450 (Stations 300, 400, 900)
"Orange" 154.0850 (Station 600)
"Green" 156.0000 (Same stations as Red)

HazMat is toned over all four dispatch frequencies (R/W/B/O).

Analog heard

Had a trip thru Michigan last weekend (7/23-24 2016) Programmed up a few frequencies to see what analog was still out there. Some of what I found:

Genesee County Fire (everything but City of Flint I think) 155.250
Clinton County Fire 154.22
Ingham County Fire/ EMS 460.600
Gratiot County fire 154.160
Isabella County Fire 154.235
Clare County Fire 154.265
Crawford County Fire 154.370
Cheboygan Fire 154.310 Sheriff 154.785

In the UP along Highway 2 it was pretty quiet, heard some Coast Guard stuff on 16 / 156.800 and 22A 157.100

Using a Vertex VX7 and a Baofeng UV5 Mag Mount on the roof.

Cheboygan County has a great signal - heard from a long way off.

That's the Flint City Citizens Radio Patrol (neighborhood watch) frequency.

Genesee Co Fire is 154.145 for everybody, including Flint City which Genesee Co Central now dispatches. The only city they don't dispatch is Fenton City which is on 155.82.

Sorry, I heard fire dispatch so that must have been the 154.145 freq. I had the Citizens Radio Patrol on the B side and probably didn't look close enough.

My 106 picked up a talk group ID of 13274. it's in Kent. But it is not listed as of yet. Needs to be listed in Kent co talk groups.

They are as follows from my area of Kent county from a pro 106 scanner that I found whilst scanning the control channels and recieving the data and storing them and their frequencies-automatically There is currently an object that scans only the control channels that are around my area of Kent.

As you can see from my above post, just because you picked it up in Kent Co doesn't mean it is Kent Co. The MPSCS is a statewide network and any talkgroup can be used on any tower. Here in Genesee Co (Flint area) I've heard stuff from the UP!

You're talking about MPSCS TG's 3069 and/or 3070 which are District 6 Dispatch North (Posts 62 and 63) and South (Posts 61 and 64) respectively. If they're like Districts 1 and 3 they're patched together so calls for both halves are heard on both TG's.

In a lot of cases, outside the metro area at least, MSP will be dispatched by the local county dispatch centers on the county talkgroups. If you're not in the area of the county that the trooper is operating out of, the only thing you would hear from them on the D6North and D6South talkgroups are the check-in and check-out transmissions, and maybe an occasional message.

Another set of Washtenaw County Fire Paging Talk-groups hits today, talk-groups: 22347 and 22350; however, I wasn't able to catch which departments just yet but they were dispatched to the Dexter Twp. fire today.

I don't know how they have all the MPSCS tower sites linked, but near me I can monitor at least a three county area off 1 site, but off some sites on the west side of the state (Battle Creek/Calhoun County) there was nothing but local traffic on them.

Strange yes I suppose but it's a great system. The best part of it is since it's all digital, there's no static. Well aside from the statewide range/interoperability.
