For which part of the state. There are 7 different troops in the state.

As I understand the bc436hp all you need to enter is the zip code for the area you live in. If you are using a software program you can get the information for the agencies you want to listen to from the database.

areas while traveling I hope someone will jump in to help with your questions

42.100 - common dispatch ( statewide low band = Elkins, Charleston, Beckley, Huntington, Morgantown...ect..ect. )
42.120 - detachment to detachement
42.260 - common crusier

Yep. Same thing here. If local files are down then they use low band ( 42.260 / 42.100 ) to run licenses.

Same here - it goes out over the sheriff's dispatch frequency.

In addition to the local 911 center and low-band freqs, don't forget the WVSP talkgroups on the WVSIRN trunked system
