I have heard talkgroups 84 and 86. I have 27 in all. Even heard a radio ID of 1 on talkgroup 86. It seems that MOSWIN has been installed in Jefferson City and some traffic heard in the southeast Missouri area is coming from there.

7/08/11 Sikeston DPS File Application for Grant
The City of Sikeston (Department of Public Safety) is submitting an application for the FY2011 Justice Assistance Grant funding for the City of Sikeston Department of Public Safety Interoperability Communications Project DPS-ICP. The project will provide equipment vital to communications interoperability.
Sikeston DPS is being afforded the first narrowband trunking radio systems in the State of Missouri. The narrowband system is part of the Missouri statewide interoperability program. The new narrowband system in Sikeston has been installed, the system is online and operating, and additional P-25 compliant mobile radios will operate seamlessly within the system. The Sikeston system completed the first leg of the system in the State of Missouri other that the state capitol. The operational requirements of the region required the system to be set on the 700/800 MHz band range requiring the purchase of VHF/7-800 MHz Dual Band Mobile Radios. To complete the Sikeston project additional mobile radios are needed for vehicles still without the compatible mobile radios.
The total of items to be purchased by DPS including installation is $24,800.00. The JAG grant does not require any match from the city, and this purchase will make our communication system 100% P-25 compliant. This will meet the state requirement for compliance by 2012.
If you have comments, questions, or concerns related to this project or the grant application, please forward them by e-mail to publicsafety@sikeston.org
