incidently, If some of your systems sites have a primary and alternate control channel frequency in your lists, You can use the same QKey number for
both frequency's to turn the Site off...

Now I've got quick keys assigned to the sites on SIRN, but I'm having trouble getting those to work. ☹

So you have to decide how you want to combine them so you wont have to have two SITES on at once in a list
BUT... If there is not one single site that covers a particular county, you will need to look at the RRDB page for that system and program all sites that cover that county if you want to hear all the traffic from agencies in that county, presuming that you can receive all of those sites.

You can't assign separate Quick Key numbers to individual frequencies of a trunked system site. Only 1 QK per site.

You assign the QKey number to the SITE... That covers the frequency's used that you have loaded for that site...

Okay I had a little trouble at first, but I have all the sites for Wood County and I shut all of them off but Parkersburg with the quick keys, and I'll do the same with MARCS once it's charged up again. Thank you thank you. 👍👍👍 it works!

I know, but I don't have a computer, so I don't think it would work.
I am certainly not trying to tell you how to spend your money... Just a thought... Windows computers, brand new, can be had as low as $100 to $200.

Without a computer, you won't be able to backup your SD card, update firmware or update the database.

If you have access to a computer of a friend or even at your local public library...
Get a couple of Micro SD cards and an inexpensive card reader...
All you have to do is copy the Root folder (BCDx36HP) from your scanners card to the new cards...
Then you will have Backups...

Thank you. I'll think about it and see what I can do. 👍
