So for MARCS, for all of the counties, I have the Washington County site cell programmed for all of them. But when we took a short drive on I-77, we went into Noble County and I had no signal from the control channel beca

Shows at the top of the screen because it's showing you have a list in that position...
Doesn't mean it has a QKey number...

You could assign any QKey number to that position...

Just like the old Download and Monitor that need to be checked when uploading to the scanner so does Quick Keys need to be checked in your Profile settings...

I pressed 05 and then E/yes and it worked then. I knew it was just something I was doing wrong. I got it.

No I just have a tablet. No place for a cable to program it by computer. All done manually.

OK, you must have used 05 instead of 5... Didn't think you could do that...

On my SDS's, I would just hit 5 and enter...
I used to have a 436 and it worked the same way... Tap 5 once and enter...

Okay, I have the quick keys figured out now. I have to press 0 and then the number + E to enable/disable a List. 👍

Just looked in my Sentinel... It's a dropdown menu... single dgit until you get past 9...

If different System's... Different Fav Lists...

Programming them in different systems within the same Favorites List works just fine. Just assign Quick Keys so you can toggle them on/off.

So should I just leave MARCS as it is and delete all the sites for SIRN except for the Parkersburg site, or vice versa, and I don't suppose it would work if I programmed the Washington County MARCS site for SIRN, would it?

Well that's what I'm unsure of. I don't know if it would work better to have multiple sites or just one, or to have multiple but, like my Lists, assign quick keys to them and only use them when I'm in that area?

If those MARCS sites you showed in your Lists... If they are different sites (different control channels), I would keep them
in seperate Fav lists... That way you can have any combination on or off at the same time...

Okay, so I'm still in the process of programming this scanner, so when I finish you mean I should create extra Lists for the other sites and turn those Lists on when I go into those counties? And Wood County has multiple sites (not simulcast) so should I do the same for that?

As long as your not monitoring TWO different control channels at the same time in the same Fav list, you can combine them...
And I would use Quick Key's on the SITES then to turn them on or off... But no more than one site on at a time in a list..
